a guy told me he refused to get rid of his pitbulls because the breeder he got them from said that he is a known breeder and a cop told him he wouldn't have to get rid of his...
people won't obey a law banning them if it isn't enforced equally....

there is already a thread on this here ... been a while but there were some pit bull lovers that came on attacking the people that wanted them banned.

A Potcake! I have had a few of them, all worked out well. If you want a pure breed try a Doberman. I had one - best one I ever had!

My Doberman lasted almost 11 years! But you are right he did die of cancer.
He was the coolest dog - still miss him. Never bit anyone (except one burglar) When my nieces were young he would keep an eye on them and let them ride on his back. God help anyone that messed with my wife or my nieces if "7" (his name) was around.
But you are right again. Potcakes last longer if one keeps them off the street!

yeah Dobbies are smart dogs .. i trained one from a puppy one time when i was in that business .. they learn quick and are great personal dogs .. in other words they attach themselves to the owner. Great for security also, you can train them to respond to every single command you teach them ..

Yes I have also heard dobermans are good with kids and very loyal too. 11 years is pretty good.
