Christ acknowledges a third sex/gender

Matthew 19:11-12

But he said to them, “Not all men can receive this saying, but only those to whom it is given.

For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs that have made them selves’ eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. He who is able to receive this let him receive it.

Here is the key to the Adam and Eve story. “For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth.”

Eunuch from birth = ambiguous sex now a days.

Scientist and doctors recognize that there are humans that are born with what would appear to be male and or female sex but in fact the gender identify in the brain is mixed or the opposite.
Common term now is transgender.

Also in the first part Christ says, “Not all men can receive this saying, but only those to whom it is given.” “Receive this saying” to me means understand this saying.

"He who is able to receive this let him receive it."

He who is able to understand it let them be.

I'm sorry Vicky. I truly believe that we need to research the meaning of scripture more in depth before we misuse them to justify everything. Enough people are turning it around already. Before I say anything else about it I am going to read and re-read and re-read that text. However, as of now, I am certain that what you are saying about it is definately untruth. For your sake, I'll look it up though. However, you must ask yourself, are you willing to accept truth?

I'm sorry Vicky. I truly believe that we need to research the meaning of scripture more in depth before we misuse them to justify everything. I agree people pick and choose what they want out of the Bible. Most of the time twisting it so as to create fear and hate. Enough people are turning it around already. Before I say anything else about it I am going to read and re-read and re-read that text. However, as of now, I am certain that what you are saying about it is definately untruth. Hi Lisa the question is, are you willing to accept the truth even if it goes against your traditional beliefs?? Believing something because thats what was taught to from birth does not make it right. Examples there are mothers that celebrate when their sons are chosen to strap on a bomb and blow him self and others up. This is something taught to them from birth but that does not make it right.

Please research Gender Dysphoria, Gender Identity Disorder, Check out ifge.org If you can get your hands on a copy of "Is it a boy or is it a girl" done by the discovery channel. Oh and lets not forget Gender 101 by IFGE. If you are truly interested it finding out the truth ask away.

Vicky, by going to the last two sites that you suggested, it is clear that you are set in your way on your beliefs. I've decided to stick to mine now even more so that I've looked briefly at those sites. First of all, the bible that I read acknowleges witchcraft. Anyone that deals in witchery and still claims to be a Christian needs to re-check their beliefs. As for all the other issues, the Word speaks of them also. See, for me, I've found my answers to everything I need right there. Some things may hurt but I shall continue to obey. I am so sorry if this offends you.

Yes The Bible speaks out aginst witch craft But is some one that makes bush medecine a witch. Is some one that has a mole a worker for the devil is some one who is left handed a sinner??? Did you read all of the page or just part.

Is it mankinds job to punnish the siner or is it the Creators? Did not Christ say Treat others as you would wish to be treated???? Seconed greatest commandment Matthew 22 39. Then why do we treat those that are different, so diferently. Would you want to be outcast just because you have a mole or birth mark. (because you might be different)

The Creator loves all he/she created and being different could not exist unless the Creator ment for it to.

2 more questions

What is the Holyness Code??
Dose you home have a railing around thr roof??

I thought that you were willing to research. Pitty you turned blind eye as soon as the truth is pointed out. Just like most other Christians that like to have something to hate.

My dear Vicky. I want to say one thing before we go on. First of all, I rarely turn a blind eye to anthing. However, I'm truly concerned about how much you are upset at Christians. I totally agree that we should treat others as we wish to be treated so please stop putting everyone in the same category. Also, since speaking to you, I realize that the issues you address seem to somehow be consuming you. It makes me question that you are not just angry at Christians but you seem to have an all out attack on life itself. You seem to be looking for someone to argue with about what you believe and an agrument does not help anyone. I have given you my opinion based on my beliefs and you have cleary given yours. We are both strong in our beliefs. However, I'm also concerned about your well being. Dont let life pass you by. Go out and enjoy it. Learn how to forgive others for the way they treat you. Yes it's is true that some people are cruel and claim to be Christians. However, not everyone that say they are something always mean that they are what they say. This statement is true in any religion. Look, I cant say that I know what you have to deal with in your life but trust me when I say that we are all going through something. If you were to hear my story, you would probably be thankful for only having to deal with the things you deal with. Anyway, maybe you were prepared to fight today. I'm sorry. All I want you to do is take care of yourself.

Hi Lisa I am mad at any one. I do live by the teachings of Christ. I have not found anything he said that leads to the hate I see for my gay brothers and sisters. Now will I argue any point in the Bible that any so called Christian use to justify their hate and violance to any other human being.

I would like you to answer the questions from my previous post. You want me to read what you write with an open mind you should do the same.

Vicky:

Regardless of what you or I think about the question of the moral quality of homosexual acts or homosexuality, it is is not appropriate to attribute a view to a historical personage (in this case, Jesus Christ) without cause. Your "read" of the Jesus' statement regarding "eunuchs" completely disregards the limits of the primary denotations (or meanings) of the word "eunuch".

Within the historial setting of first century Judea, the term "eunuch" referred to a man who had been castrated in order to serve as a chamberlain to a harem. Jesus, then, uses the term as a metaphor for those men (and women) who would give up their right for the experience of sexual union within marriage for the purpose of greater service to the kingdom of God.

In a secondary way, this passage may be applied to men and women with a homosexual orientation. In this case - as in the case of heterosexual men and women - Jesus would be saying, "Some have given up sexual relations for the sake of the kingdom." In no way could Jesus' statement be used as a justification of homosexual acts or homosexuality.

It is with caues. Christians use christ name everyday to outcast other humans. So called Christians have murdered hundreds of thousands of humans in the name of Christ. A priamary example are lefthanded people. Why where they concidered workers of satan and burned alive. The big question is why don't we still do it to this day??? Why do Christians feel it ok to be lefthanded now???Christians said opps we made a mistake!!! How many more people have to have their lives destoried in the name of Christ before we say its to many?? Your "read" of the Jesus' statement regarding "eunuchs" completely disregards the limits of the primary denotations (or meanings) of the word "eunuch".

You better read it again it states that some are born Eunuch do you realy think they have no sex drive??? Not want for a loving copmanion??? Better go meet one and ask them. I tell you now they do. I also suggest you study up on fetail development and dig into the genatial development.
Now as to the languge. Christ would have to speak in a manner that the people back then could understand. Think about it how would you tell some one back then of the space shuttle??????

I never said Eunuch = homosexuality. I said Eunuch = ambiguous sex and Christ did say of those born that way. If a human is born not clearly male or female what are they if not a third sex. I also said medical science is starting to link the same changes in the womb that create humans with ambiguous sex also effect the brain and that there are conditions where the gentiles develop normally but the brain develops ambiguous gender. = Transgender (and some believe homosexual but that is a different topic) Its society that make us different.
