The person that mentioned school the next day was talking about The PLP victory on May 2nd 2002. That was a Thursday, we all had work or school that following Friday.

Sad thing is I can't remember that day at all...I knew I was young but not young enough to forget the entire day...All I can go on is my mother saying it rain cats and dogs...but where the hell was I....
But I remember the PLP victory clearly...I was at the in laws house....the entire family gathered there to hear the results...it was a pizza party with chicken wings...(truly a superbowl event). I can say I was devastated when the PLP won...nonetheless, attempting to return home that night from West to East, I witness the biggest crowd in the world gravitating to Clifford Park...Now that was amazing....I never knew the Bahamas has so many naive persons who voted PLP....

See now that makes sense...If that is the case... I would have been on holiday...travelling some place...was this the time the hurricane hit South Florida...I remember being trapped in the US during that time, with no water and light...Dang I getting old...
