Before everyone jumps on the Queen for this, following is an extract from information about the Queen’s annual speech from the throne, which appears on the website www.royal.gov.uk:-

“The Queen formally opens the new session of Parliament each year, usually in October or November……………

“The Queen reads The Queen's Speech, seated on the throne. The Queen's Speech to the members of both Houses of Parliament is written by the Government of the day, and outlines the legislation which the Government plans to introduce into Parliament in the coming session. Traditionally, the Sovereign opens Parliament in person. The Queen has opened Parliament every year of her reign except 1959 and 1963.”

The Queen only reads what the government of the day has written!

Also, according to Dod on Line (Vacher Dod Publishing, Political Publishers) – www.dodonline.co.uk (http://www.dodonline.co.uk/) -the Queen said in her speech: “My Government will maintain its commitment to increased equality and social justice by bringing forward legislation on the registration of civil partnerships between same sex couples."
CIVIL partnerships - NOT marriages!

CIVIL partnerships - NOT marriages! Thats right like I posted same sex unions. With all the rights as a heterosexul marriage.
Who would want to go to a church or temple where you are not wanted anyway.
They don't need to go to a Christian club (church) to give a promise of love.
