I say this is interesting as i look at the length of time this discussion has been running. I say this is interesting as this subject probably hits closer to home with most of us than it did say 15yrs ago as more of our family members, friends etc are open in this lifestyle.

All countries, world systems ,scientific research etc all have one thing in common and that is the need for some system of government - some authority to declare laws of operation, systems of advancement, seats of judgement etc. This is because as humans we are created beings and innately there is a desire in us for control systems and accountability. Our Creator whom I have come to know as The Triune Godhead ( the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) has made availiable to us all His laws and values for the government of our lives and behavior here on earth. Not wanting us to be robotic in nature, we were given a free will to accept or reject them each having it's own consequences.

Homosexuality( and the scripture has already been quoted)
is CLEARLY not upheld in this value system nor is it isolated as the lone ranger of sin . The question is not so much whether
it is right or wrong, but rather whose system and values are we choosing to govern our lives.

Most gay people say they do not 'choose' to be gay and I believe that to an extent because as there are physical diseases that are passsed down thru family lines ( sickle cell) there are spritual diseases ( curses, homosexuality Deut.28) that are also passed down. this same system teaches that once we accept it we have the power to overcome and be victorious over any and everything that is'antichrist'or contrary to these teachings.

What about masturbation? I believe it's the same homosexual spirit - same sex with same sex. -

People always want to know what is it abount gay sex that makes it a preference. We need to mature from this- all sin is sweet and pleasing to the flesh. If it weren't people would naturally shy away from it.Infact ,we are only able to turn away from sin because of Jesus' shed blood.

Government officials - if we're going to use the biblical yardstick then we must use is across the board..not just in one area.

Let we who believe the message of the gospel travail for this nation and allow revival to come to our sexuality.

In my opinion (i could not care less if anyone disagrees) what you do in the bedroom should be your own business.

If i want to be whipped, kicked or wrapped in plastic wrap to get off, that is my business. I do not have to proclaim my sexual activities a "lifestyle" and demand that others accept it.

Face it: men should NOT be having sex with other men. No matter how you try to justify it, it should not occur. I am not trying to argue with scientific studies proving this or that... they could also prove that some people are predisposed to being crackheads or animal-rapers, that does not mean they should be... take that how u want it.

Therefore, being a homosexual should be what u do in private - me personally would prefer not to know what perversion gets you off. All this talk about it being more than "just sex" is foolishness, because human culture is defined by how we view and treat sex, it is a fundamental part of us. Straight people do not lead a "straight" lifestyle, they just live... so a "gay lifestyle" is just fiction designed to irritate people who have better things to think about other than other people's sexcapades.

BREAKDOWN: Keep your (man-on-man) activities in your bedroom... like how everyone else does.

Homosexuality has and will always be a controversial issue here in the Bahamas. Why supposedly being a Christian nation, ww practise Christian values we adhere to the norms and values of the bible.

However one can not say that Homosexulaity is becoming increasingly popular here in the Bahamas. As it stands now more people are making the public known of their Homosexuality. And as a result of this more Bahamians are becoming increasingly homophobic to it.

As our country develops and if the FTAA does happen here in the Bahamas and there is a free trade/free movement of people we are going to see Homosexuality increasing here.

Different countries from all around the world where Homosexuality is so popular and you have a free trade of people from those countries passing through the Bahamas you can't really dictate to them what lifestyle they can or can not practise. Even though we say that discrimination should not happen, technically we are discriminating against Homosexuals and under the law here in the Bahamas everyone is protected against discriminization even Homosexuals.

In my opinion whatever lifestyle you chose to live is your decision, and one day we all have to stand before God and answer to him about the lifestyle we have lived. I personally do not have a problem with Homosexuality, becase it does not define who the person is; it is just something that they practice and engage in. This is my belief as long as you don't impose your belief or lifestlye upon me, there is no reason why I should have animosity towards them because they live a lifestyle different to what I live.

If a woman sees being with another woman makes her happy and that is what she wants then by all means she should be happy; and that also applies for a man.
