..The PLP is going insane with frustration these days and I say that for whom the Gods wish to destroy, they first make mad. Such is what is happening within the PLP these days.

On Thursday night the PLP gathered to select its new slate of candidates for the up coming elections. Its was quite a big break up fight, Keod Smith and Sidney Stubbs was not having it and poor Perry just stood there helpless, could not do nothing. It was one big mess. Accusations were flying all across the room and no one was letting up. Our Deputy Prime Minister, Minister Pratt, called for prayer and told the group to pray and let God make the decision. The insults and arguments went up until 2 am in the morning.

Then in my mind to make matters worst, I decided to watch ZNS news tonight, Friday, February 16, 2007, and what the Prime Minister did was completely beyond human decency for the office that he holds.
Obviously he was at a memorial service for a faithful PLP at PLP headquarters’. What I heard from his mouth while paying tribute to the diseased PLP was a divisive political speech that was disgraceful and showed all forms of desperation. ZNS had the nerve to edit it as though Mr. Christie was answering Mr. Ingraham who has a mass rally the night before in Golden Gates.

The PLP, it Leader and all of its followers are now enjoying their last days in office. May they rest in peace for the sake of our beloved Bahamaland.

Slate is not finalised. And the govt has yet to present its proposals to the parliamentary registration department, nor has it set a meeting for the boundaries commission to meet!

I saw that on ZNS too..I could not believe it. I was thinking.."this man is the prime minister of a civilized country and here he is having his own mini-rally with a dead person in a coffin as his background". And people think he should ask Shane to resign because of his lack of judgemet? What is in poorer taste than using a memorial service for politics? And with the dead woman in plain view! That was awful and unbecoming of the leader of the country! And people say the Tribune shouldn't have printed those pictures..well ZNS should not have shown that poor woman in her coffin!! Children probably saw that and won't want to sleep tonight!

i saw the same thing, i couldnt beleive my eyes what i was seeing, at first i thought they had a split screen, i was lookin for that woman to rise outta that coffin any minute, if that wasn't enough, then they show where he was signing the contract for the new straw market, he looked even worse there,he signing a contract using public funds and talking politics.

yall just realise this man does this? i watched a piece of a opening cerimoney for one of those broke down low cost housing communites and that man only talked politricks in his speech. i was like good night all he had to do was congrats the folks on their landmark achievement of becoming homeowners and call that a day.

You just as bias as every FNM supporter. it's people like you who i don't wish to talk to at all. only can find falt with one party. The FNM is no political party to be praiseing. You ain't see all the negative things mr Ingraham did to tommy, Wells, Allen, & alot of others who opposed him a? Stop being bias, & speak the truth. I don't like alot of things this goverment did & i'm not a PLP. But please don't make the FNM to be anything because their just as bad as the PLP, no different, may even be worst. I hope if the FNM is reelected to goverment, you continue to speak the praises of them & don't be disappointed. These polititions have a way of disapointing people.

Well, he definately went political at the official signing of the contract to build the Straw market. He simply don't have no taste. Or the man is losing his marbles? When he should be speaking--national issues--he quiet. I just dont understand this man. He don't have one iota of leadership material in him.

..... now eh, hus ya mouth... cause if someting is the truth and you speak about it how could that be bias.... I am an FNM supporter, that ismy right... Ok lets talk facts. Remember we had the airport scandal with Brent symonette, when he awarded his company goverment contracts. we had the scandal with the honneralble Frank Watson who was to supposed to purchase two 737 jets for Bahamas air that Bahamas air never got. Former prime minister promise us an investagation onto the matter & we never heard about again. We had geverment contracts being awarded to unqualified FNM supporters druing the 2002 election campaign, We also had tommy t & Dion with the schools contracts that was under question that we never got a respond. I also remember during the 2002 election campaign you had tommy bribing voteters in his constituency by purchaseing lawn mores for votes. I could go on & on, do you know how much foreigners were able to get their public service licence through the back door under the FNM alot, i know. I'm not makeing no excuse for this incompetent PLP i feel the same way about them, but the FNM is no different, thats all i'm saying. When you vote for them this election i hope you don't be disappointed.

I saw that too (dead woman )last night on zns news and could not believe it. Pressure boy. Mr Christie better take it easy before we do not have a pm going into this election.
