Well, we have seen what they can do. I don't think any Government should stand for this type of thuggery, portrayed by the various public unions here.
What can you do?
Ingraham didn't give them a shat, and they voted him in twice...now, they have threatened and bullied the PLP and now they probably will crack. PLP, wrong place at the wrong time.
What pisses me off the most, is that you can not get effective service out of some of these public services.
Education is in shambles, and is a complete and utter disgrace. Yet again, Poitier is leading the charge with no end in sight.
The Prison guards, are doing a fantastic job but they have allowed their ranks to be infiltrated by dangerous devices and have allowed so many escapes in the past two years.
Do not even get me started on the Public Service.
The unions are unfairly, receiving the lion's share of our tax dollars, to give us shat services. There are no intellectuals and there is no real leadership for progress in any Government service. They all just hand in their, and then collect gratuity when they are ready to retire.
Yet, they strike....and strike with a vengeance.
They are setting a dangerous precedent if you ask me. They will probably, within the next 3-5 years, be incrementally cracked from their labour power. No government likes a strike, and probably will de-claw them regardless of which side it's on; FNM, BDM, PLP or whomever.
Mark my word. Poitier and the gang had better stop. But, they don't care and that's the sad fact.
Strike for purpose and mean it. If you did not like your first deal, don't take it and wait until you get a good one and much better one. Do not wait 3 months, to strike or threaten to strike again after everyone has SEEN you get more of our tax dollars, for your shoddy workmanship. That is not fair to us.
They don't care and I would support a Government, who cracks them if this continues in this fashion.
