Just getting a degree also doesn't mean a person is smarter or better at the same thing, than a person without a degree.

If you were dedicated enough you wouldn't need to goto college to get trained by someone else, you would train yourself.

What Tech school?? Ive never EVER been to any tech school ..
I havent worked for anyone else in .. hmmmm ... 10 years.

Correct me if Im wrong, but running your own buisness means if you dont work or have buisness you dont eat. There are pros and cons of working for yourself vs a company. If I could venture out on my own and make what Im making now with similar benefits I would do it in a heart beat.

thing is though if you had that degree behind your name and some polish(refinement) you would be CIO of some Corporation A and youd be making the money(your pink skin wouldve help too)...(and you sure wouldnt have sleepless nights and or be eating hot dogs and hotty patties for sustinance)


a college education is more than about getting trained...its about the experience...the exposure to different cultures... different kinds of people...self actualization...fulfillment. respect that if nothing at all.

What Rory doesn't understand is that although it is very possible to become an entrepreneur without a college education, an even be a very intelligent person without one, all of even most people can never start their own business - first of all the needed capital doesn't just grow on trees, second of all, someone needs to work in your businesses right?
And if we are going to work we are going to need an education, even if only for the diploma although there is a lot more benefits, in order to secure positions that will help us lead a better life.
