I'm no Sidney Stubbs fan, but nonetheless, his not getting his party's nomination while others wrapped in controversey have raises some interesting questions.

Shane resigns in disgrace, takes a bribe, compromises his Ministerial position and brings international shame in some respects to the country, Keod and Kenyatta fight in the Cabinet room and destroy government property, and then Keod commits the cardinal sin of going behind the PM and making the PM look like a big liar in the whole affair - but they all are worthy of nominations.

Sidney doesnt pay some of his bills and is involved in the same Korean Boat scandal Vincent Peet was involved in and took monies under the table for, but he isnt worthy of a nod? :biggie:

Would you not slander Peet. This is not proved, so please quit it.

Stubbs is a smart man, smarter than Shane would ever be; but, Shane did more. What he has done, barring the scandal is tangible and people can see it.

Immigration sweeps and Housing. I think them Haitians put obeah on he. LOL....

But this isnt about who has done alot during their term, cuz if that were the case, couple other PLPs couldnt get the nod either! Plus, Sidney was not a Cabinet Minister, so you cant compare Shane's portfolio achievements and Sidney's work as an MP.

Sindey was in the right place, for what his portfilio spoke to. Business and Economic expansion, as the BAIC commisioner or something. He was in prime position, to do what he does best and he did not do it.

Shane was in a position, in the onset that he was not best suited for. So he went to Immigration and training, and was a better more suitable fit. All in the process of performing dutifully and dillgently.

I will not join the chorus, of continuing to kill Shane over some two-bit hoe.

LOL .. but the fact is he committed his own suicide ..
he could have just stayed clear and been professional ..
regardless of whether this or that happened.

Back on the matter of Sidney, atleast Sidney's bankruptcy declaration was discharged. Shane, on the other hand, is a candidate now under active police investigation for bribery!
