I'm watching Cable 12 and whats on? BAHAMAS TOP MODEL. Now, I'm not getting into the flamin hot mess many of the girls are. My point of this thread is, why cant Bahamians do things apart from what they see in America?

I KNOW the persons behind this didnt get permission from Tyra Banks to steal her show concept and even the show's moniker!

Two years ago everyone wanted to host Bahamian Idol shows in Nassu and Freeport. No identity man! And whats worse, no originality either. Not only do you steal the concepts, you also are brazen enough to steal these shows' names and put your show on TV.

I'll never forget this girl, I cant remember her name, who ripped off Monica's song "Angel of Mine" and was going around the place bragging, "hi, Im so-and-so and I sing Angel of Mine." HELLER - that song is not yours!!

I caught the tail end of the show and 'rip off' is indeed what they did but they did not do it well. I wonder what kinds of 'trials' they put them through and at one point it looked like the girls had to pick their own outfit..it though it was top model, not top designer.
Them girls could hardly walk the runway properly and Im sure I heard the host say at one point that it was the girl on the runway first attempt at walking...I was like you mean they aint teach them how to walk or nothing and my sister was like, she just learining to walk, my nine month old could walk..lol

soon are you smarter than a primary school student will be on cable 12.

to be fair though many countries have their own version of american idol or idol and i belive that america imported idol from the UK

also many countries have their version of top model. the only diff is i cuaght cable 12's version and they aint given the winners nuttin big
