View Full Version : Are some ANTI government Bahamian websites being hiJACKED?
FACTS ONLY 03-25-07, - 09:39 PM I have been unable to access BahamasB2B.com and Bahamas blog. What is going on? BahamasB2B has a message saying people are unable to log on and they sugest that workers from Cable Bahamas are being used to do this. Bahamas blog has a message saying their account has cancelled.
I thought we enjoyed FREE SPEECH!!
Has anyone else had this problem?
Something does not seem right to me.

Please read carefully.
Its not saying that Cable Bahamas workers are doing this. It says that customers using Cable Bahamas issued Ip addresses have been attacking thier website as a result the range of IPs issued to those attackers have been banned. (Coralwave issues 65.75, 24.244, 24.231, and a few 208. and 196). So if an attacker had the IP address 65.75.999.999 then all persons who get 65.75. or 65.75.999. would be baned.
It then said to call Cable Bahamas and advise them to go after the persons who attacked their website in the first place (as it results in honest users being blocked)

Who actually follows that B2B Community page anyway!!! All it has is a bunch of sick UBP's who still cant get over the fact that they lost to Pindling and the PLP in 1967!! I left that website many years ago! They just love to run on and on about what Pindling did to them even though he is long dead.
They are filled with uncompromising hate & bitterness. That Community page made me sick!!!!!
islandgyal 03-26-07, - 12:26 AM can't get on my bahamian blog, which concerns me ... and can still get on bahamasb2b, even though i don't care for the "editorial" whining and rewriting of news that goes on there. go figger:wipe: ... hope that there's a good explanation in the morning. in the meantime, blogbahamas and bahamapundit seem to be fine!
garnelleo 03-26-07, - 01:16 AM To view your IP address go to www.whatsmyip.org.
An IP address is basically an address issued to you that allows you to access the internet.
I am thinking that the website has blocked all addresses begining with 24.231 or 24.244 because I was able to view bahamasb2b and bahamasblog on a computer that was getting a 65.75 ip address from Cable Bahamas. But now I am on a PC with a 24.231 ip address and am being blocked with the message the k.o.o.l.b.o.n.z.e. had.
chancellor 03-26-07, - 02:00 AM Yes I did notice this to as sometimes I take a peek of the site at work and they have Cable Bahamas. For weeks I though I was getting the address wrong. What I usually do now if I browse from there is google the blog and enter through a link.
