You are just a dumb troll ..

I think you may have already mentioned that.

noone cares what you think, dont you get that?

By no one, you mean you, of course. (which is odd, as you've posted spiteful, abusive responses to nearly all my clarifications - leading me to believe you care a little *too* deeply)

You are so stupid that you didnt even realise what I said originally were not meant to be facts ...

So all this:

its where classic asp was 10 years ago ...
cant stand the php syntax ... geared towards linux ..
too many script kiddies playin with it ...
same open source templates all over the web .. they all look the same. ..
besides i code from the ground up ... but still php has a bad name already ..

Wasn't said by you.

Cool. Now you've cleared it up, I apologise for thinking you did and subsequently posting correct information about PHP for the benefit of others here.

My apology is made, I'll accept yours for your disgusting and childish abuse you've hurled at me when you're ready, then maybe the board can get back to normal.

Have a lovely evening.

Well, I will apologize to Thyme online .. their name was unnecessarily mentioned when they had nothing to do with this thread ... Can you delete any posts where their name is called ... thanks.

I did a 30 camera version for a MacDonalds Franchise in the US, last year.
Im implementing that into my own viewer, but im going to do 64 cameras, or sites. Yep bandwidth is one of the issues, the other is the CPU usage ... though with the quad core I shouldnt have to worry too much about that.

Just cant afford the quad core yet to test it, but will test with the Core 2.
I added in motion detection just recently, but its not 100% yet. CMS system is more what Im gearing it towards in the next version (while retaining the desktop type app), with the basic version to be free and limited, the full version, or variations, will cost depending on the license. Right now its selling as is though, which is still good, as I need another couple months of coding until I release the new version in just Beta mode for testers.

The above mentioned app is for GeoVision DVRs, but once the manufacturer supplies the SDK or activeX it can be done for any device, though the features will vary. Ive done apps for GE Dvrs, as well as I-View, and Eclipse .. they dont give you as much play as GeoVision though.

Otherwise, alot of manufacturers these days supply a ready built CMS app either included for free, limited, or for a small additional charge.

That's good stuff!

Let me know when you are beta testing the new version. The company that I am referring to uses Geovision for all of their DVRs, so compatibility should not be a problem.

Yes indeed, the situation that they ran into was a matter of bandwidth and the large number of computers they needed to display all of the remote DVR screens. They tried to do a central monitoring system for some of their major clients and the bandwidth pipe was clogged into oblivion. The motion sensing option would save them a lot of trouble.

They definitely will pay for it as long as it's reasonable...or if they absolutely have to they'll pass on the cost to their clients.
