The loss of a cultural icon always rips a hole in a community's psyche.
What's important though is how we come together afterwards to fill that gap - not to replace the loss (some persons never can be replaced), but to continue showing the ultimate respect of the work and efforts of that person.
alas, the calm in the storm...very insightful Mr. Brown.

Vivica would truly be missed!!1 I know I am going to miss her.
What makes even more sad is that I heard she died from an allergic reaction to a drug prescribed to her by a doctor. It swelled her body and proceeded to choke her. When they tried to call the ambulance..... none was available at the time.
I certanly hope these young doctors and the healthcare system learn a lesson from this tragedy!!
RIP Vivica

I add my sympathies. The news came as a shock as I did not know she was sick. Another Bahamian icon has left us. RIP Vivica.
The name is Viveca. She would be upset and would complain loudly if she saw how her name has been misspelled. They misspelled her name in the credits of an American movie she acted on and she was cursing about it.She was my cousin and I will miss her.
