How many times does this have to be answered? The constitution is available online..but anyhow...If you were born in the Bahamas after July9, 1973 and EITHER (meaning your mother or your father) parent is a Bahamian then YOU ARE A BAHAMIAN CITIZEN!!!! ( Like Rory said!) It changes if a child is born outside the Bahamas and the FATHER is NON Bahamian and married to the Bahamian mother.

I dont live in the bahamas
yet legally i am bahamian

There goes against the idea of matrilineal line of descent, with thousands of years of foundation. ex: jewish history. Born of a bahamian mother should be bahamian...ditto for of bahamian father.
