The “Boil fish Breakfast” at the former Prime Minister’s house was a big splash and a smashing success, according to those individuals who attended the party and came back to the “Break fast Club” at McDonald’s the next day and bragged about how good it was. One of the good gentlemen who is a prominent member of the Free National Movement Party, went on to tell those who had left early that they missed the best part, because after the boil fish, then came: the Pig-feet and Sheep-tongue Souse.
Then came the Conch-stew and Craw-fish Salad, and to top off the evening a suckling-Pig was roosted. Interestingly though, three prominent members of t
he F.N.M. Council did not attend Hubert Ingraham’s party, because they saw the party as a bribe and a maneuver to get them to support the return of Mr. Hubert Ingra ham as Leader and Prime Minister. “He could have boil fish brake fast and all day parties until thy kingdom come, he will not get me to support his return as leader and Prime Minister!!!” one of the F.N.M. supporters explain.
Nevertheless, it is clear that the F.N.M has a strategy in place to unite all of the opposition forces in the country, because there was another party Saturday past in the gated community of Treasure Cove in which I was invited to attend, and all of the opposition parties in the Bahamas were there, including Leaders of the Workers Party, and the C.D.R. Having attended that party personally, I was able to analyze and form my own opinion on the food, and all of the Free National Movement Leaders who were present as well.
As for the food, I finished a bowl of Stewed Fish and about three Rum and Cokes. By that time, my time had expired and I had to leave, but through out my whole time socializing, I had the opportunity to tell all of the F.N.M. Leaders present in no uncertain terms that they are a bunch of petty, spiteful, spineless, hypocrites who just waiting to grab power again, but will never see it in this life time. Because, they have allowed themselves to be manipulated and exploited by Hubert Ingra ham and as a result abandon all of the ideals, dreams and aspirations to remain steadfast to contribute to the development of our great country. Therefore, none of them are fit and proper persons to get my support. And, while the food was great and enjoyable, don’t expect it to compromise me because food doesn’t impress me.
But I guess I will have to show them better then I can tell them, because the F.N.M. Super Bowl Party Which is plan for Sunday on Paradise Island will not have the pleasure and privilege of my presence. What is your take on this story?
