Security at BEC Power Outlets

Do you think that it is fair for the Bahamian public to carry the bill of security personnel at B.E.C power outlets because of Union disputes with B.E.C Management or vice-versa?
Do you think it is fair when costly medication and food expires prematurely in homes all over Nassau because grown men and women cannot communicate?
Do you think that it is fair for tourists to travel thousands of miles to shop in the dark?

Is this fair?
Let us work together Bahamas to find a solution to this issue.
What can we do to end this?

I do not think that the Bahamian people should be responsible to the security personnel at BEC outlets.
Security personnel should be from BEC security staff. We the Bahamian people already pay exhorbitant fees to BEC and therefore we expect full service to ensure that we receive the service which we are paying for.
It is unfortunate that adult leaders cannot come to some compromise to settle disputes. We want our children to learn how to play and get along with their friends, but when it comes to us, we can't seem to be able to give them the example that they need.
I do agree that we should not be spending the Tax Payers money to hire Security personnel to protect what belongs to us from us. It's really unfortunate that things went the way it did but unfortunately that's the way business is being done in this country. I tell you the truth those Politicians are going to be the death to us all, they hate to make the right decisions because it is not "Politically Correct". If they feel that they wont be elected for another term they wont make the right choice. The right choice in this matter is to put legislations in place to secure the majority of the public from this acts of criminalism being demonstrated by BEC employees. Who some of them feel if not all that they can demand anything they want because if they dont get it then we will have darkness across the land.
You know what I have no hope that things will get better, the lust for money in this country by the majority of Bahamians is frightening, they want it but have no idea how to use it properly and most importantly how to save it. It's sickening. Its an atomosphere that was created by politics, with greed for power and citizens love of money. Only GOD can save us. Repent Bahamas before it is too late.

I feel that most Bahamians don't know about Union disputes or the reason behind what is going on at BEC right now. So in turn no sides are taken by the majority and no real support are given by the people for anyone.
We just want the service. Thats it! Leave our light alone!
This is what the majority are thinking.
I think that both parties have failed in informing the Bahamian public on what is going on at BEC. If anyone wants to make their voices heard clearly and understood, they need to educate the public on it in a language that we all can understand.
Cutting down light poles that we paid for is not a good start.
