As someone interested in symbolism I was wondering why the parties chose the colors they did. FMN red, PLP yellow (or is it gold?) Does any one know? By the way am I right in saying that the PLP once had blue as their color? Can't remember the FMNs.

i just figured that they chose the colours of their favourite NBA team :tdown: ...

i know its hard to pay attention to perry when he speaks but if you listened HE even described what you call yellow as GOLD....

Red is supposed to be a strong, attention grabbing color. It also matches the torch I guess. Thats the only reason I can guess they (the FNM) chose it.

Then for the PLP i always just assumed that they opted to go with the blue and yellow to match the flag.
