Yes Please.

Also, can you clarify "The Kingdom of God exist in His Word." All persuasions of Christianity claim to live by the Word - while claiming the other do not. All things written are subject to interpretation. Some times that interpretation differs little, at other times it is poles apart.
The Kingdom of God is the influience of the Holy Spirit on earth.
REF: Romans 14:17. The Kingdom of God was created at the begining of this world by His Word. It exist in His Word because He spoke it in His Word. In the Begining was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. REF: John 1:1. That is why the Bible says that Heaven and earth will fade but His Word will still remain. Jesus is the Word! REF: John 1:14.
Jesus came to restore that which we had lost in the begining which was The Kingdom of God. When Adam sinned the Holy Spirit was taken from us. Without the Holy Spirit there is no Kingdom.

Because of Jesus the Kingdom of God is restored here on earth through the Holy Spirit.

I will start a thread on the Kingdom of God later to give a full detail of it the best way that I can.

You also said, "If you knew the Word then you would know the truth." Well, I do know the Word. I know the Word as the Catholics interpret it, as the Protestants understand it and I also know how the Jews and the followers of Islam see it.
I am not talking about the Bible CG because the devil himself knows the word. I am talking about Jesus.
Do you really know Jesus CG?

As surprising as it may seem, I really have no quarrel with the many faces of Christianity. I have no quarrel with the many expressions of God. My dispute is with those who leave no room for the fact that religious expressions and beliefs change. The change may be slow, sometime almost imperceptible but change it does - change, it has!
The Word of God doesn't change. Religion changes!

Vicky you appear to read the Bible more than I do so you should know.
Hi CG another good one.
Yes I very much read the Bible. I also try to learn as much as I can about where it came from. What I have learned is that the Bible we read to day is a collections of books written over many years. The collection we read to day is the canonized version of the Bible. This collection of books we read today is 2 parts. The Old Testament stories and laws of the Jews. The New Testament the birth death and teachings of Christ. And some letters and opinions of the apostles.
Now here is the real trick, joke or irony. Study of historical Fact Emperor Constantine (a practicing pagan roman emperor) commissioned some religious leaders to write him 50 copies of the Bible. Now he was paying them. He also is responsible for changing the birth and death date of Christ. I question if he could change the birth and death date of Christ how much did emperor Constantine have omitted or changed in the Bible. Fact he omitted many teaching of Christ that are known as the Agnostic gospels
Historical fact Christian interpretations and values have changed. Maybe you can turn a blind eye to the time when it was torture and death in the name of Christ for being left handed. Now I would like to see some one who is left handed change and be right handed. Fact they might get comfortable using their right hand but they will always be left handed. I remember having my left hand hit with a ruler for writing with my left hand.

With this said no one here has proven to me that the Bible is against homosexuality here in the Bahamas for Christians and or non-Christians. And based on he fact that not all Bahamians are Christian should they be subject to the majority interpretation of Christian laws.
That is no different than a Muslim country enforcing its interpretation of Islamic laws denying the right for a Christian to practice Christianity. Reference the Talaban.

I will look forward to that thread.

Unfortunately, the only place (that is recognized by the church) to know about Christ IS the Bible. There are other sources, the most interesting dealing with the "lost years" of Jesus. Another is the Gnostic Gospels. But if one really wants to know about him, the Bible is the place. Also, the Word with a capital "W" refers to Jesus. The word, with a small "w" refers to the Holy Scriptures. The Word is the word. To know the word is to know the Word!

But religion is the expression of the Word of God. The two cannot be divorced. Its interpretation changes all the time. There is no one today, who practices the faith EXACTLY the same way St. Paul did. Religious understanding and Bible interpretation has evolved over the years and will continue. Once it fossilizes, it dies - as many religions before it have done. My concern is why do you want to fossilize it? Keep it living and up to date with the world as we know it.

The Bible says that God's Word doesn't change so if religion is the expression of the Word of God and we both agree that religion changes then it is not of God. Religion is a product of man. God never told us to seek religion, He told us to seek the Kingdom.

But how can you seek the kingdom but through religion? If you seek it elsewhere then you are an independent agent subject to error.

Why all this seeking, if all did good and tried to respect each other we then maybe could be able to get some answers. Good or bad!

There are those (people like Cedric and Delroy) that don't want the laws to respect each other as equals. That is why all of this.
