View Full Version : FNM for Christie--Swing Vote--Greater than 10%
SlipGoes 04-26-07, - 07:13 PM There now exists, a data base of credible and validated information showing a significant swing of shift-voters to the PLP. This group of shift-voters herein described as “FNMs for Christie” represent the single most adverse threat to the comeback political trail of Hubert Symonette and Brent Ingraham. These FNMs for Christie account for the drift of 20% plus diehard FNM voters who now commit to vote in favor of Christie over Symonette/Ingraham. This bellwether drift affect has also dampened the spirits of some 17% of the FNM base who refused to register to vote with Ingraham and Symonette as leader and have decided to sit this one out until Symonette/Ingraham is finished off by the PLP onslaught and sweep at the May 2nd polls. FNMs-for-Christie and FNMs against the baleful back-door entrance of Symonette to fulfill his lifelong dream of serving in the footsteps of his father; have vowed to deal a political retirement blow to Ingraham. These true FNMs are more trustworthy of Tommy Turnquest and they can’t wait to rejoin their Party on the morning of May 3rd, since Ingraham is predicted to be a weak man serving in the Senate until their next Party Convention.
Many pundits who participate in the smokers’ room of prediction and hope within the FNM are twitching with anxiety and panic attacks because of the repetitive thoughts generated by all day long nightmares seeping into their heads as a result of the miscalculation and devastation this “hired hand” comeback and leadership fiasco has done to ransack the equilibrium of the FNM. There is now more mistrust and fickle behavior than ever before.
Chief among the concerns expressed by FNM foreign political advisers and insider roundtable “chosen few” is that the ransacking and dismantling of the Tommy Turnquest and Dion Foulkes regime of FNM leadership has triggered a backlash of discontent never imagined. The resurrecting of Ingraham and his teaming up with Symonette (backed by the entire Eastern Road, Frank Watson, the LNG Boys, Carl Bethel, Desmond Banister, Special Foreign Interests, The Tribune, Cable 12, and Gin and Juice Drinkers) has hardened the resolve of FNMs who feel cheated of the youthful contribution they imagined Foulkes and Turnquest would have brought to the table.
When questioned as to why they support Christie over Symonette and Ingraham, these FNMs for Christie cite that Christie’s word means something to them. The vast majority of the FNM for Christie crew state that “Character Counts” and that it is hard to forgive a person who has failed to keep his word to only serve two terms. Many state that Ingraham should take a page out of Bradley Roberts’ political book since Bradley has kept his word and retire. My God he let Bradley beat him when it comes to keeping yer word!
There is also grave concern that it is hard to swallow the breaking of promises and double talk with respect to misleading Tommy. Many of these supporters were suspicious in the first place as to the sincerity of anointing Tommy in 2002 since Ingraham could have stepped down some 6 months or so before election to allow Tommy to carry the Party into the May 2002 election as Prime Minister. Some say that this massacre of Tommy’s political future is a key element of their mistrust of the current leadership.
Another blockbuster negative against the Symonette/Ingraham Prime Minister Team is that the Bahamas would become a laughing stock to the world in the case when a person who was fired for, as Desmond Bannister states it, for a “CONFLICT OF INTEREST” becomes Prime Minister. They say these types of people do not make good Prime Minister Material. FNMs for Christie feel that conflict of interest practices borders on stuffing your own coffers and that they feel embarrassed to have such a PM or DPM represent them. Especially when the fired person fails to apologize to the NATION, before election is held.
The FNM for Christie touts a membership of some 26,300 plus registered voters who they say are loyal followers to their preferred leader Tommy Turnquest. They remain loyal to Tommy and are supported by Tommy despite their quest to topple the present FNM leadership by voting for Christie They vow to vote for Christie.
As they put it, “PAYBACK IS A MUDDER”.

There is a way to do them, where you get a better look at what may happen. But no one here is doing that, so you are right when you say bogus.
