Smelling alot of burning smoke these days on Eastern Road, every night & day, could this be from the dump too? If not, someone must be burning bush around here, slowly!

Getting rediculous, smell is horrible, dangerous, and if it keeps up, Im packing and leaving the island. Doesnt look like the government will ever find a solution.

It's in Cable Beach too! Last night we had to close our windows and put the air conditioning on. I don't know what tourists must be thinking about it!

I feel sorry for residents who don't have air conditioning. And the evenings are so cool and pleasant right now, it's a shame (and an expense) to put a/c on!

A few weeks ago there was a government announcement that they were trying to find a solution, but I haven't heard anything more since then.

If its the dump, its a result of bad planning. Imagine to place a dump right next to residential areas. If its people they should be fined heavilly or something. Why isn't there a ban on burning trash in residntial and commercial areas? i guess its because it wouldn't be inforced in the first place. the government is obviosly not taking this suriously. I fear that this smoke if from trash, may be hazardous to the health of the people that live there.
