From The Heart: Shorty On The Election Trail

Shorty went campaigning the other day and the first door he knocked on when the old lady of the house opened the door and found our that Shorty was a political candidate she threw piss on him.
The old lady was saving her piss for one of those religious organizations that come knocking but none of them had been by her house here of late and the piss was ranking up the house so badly she figured she might as well throw it on a politician hence Shorty’s bad luck.
I met Shorty driving back home from the pee drenching, to change his clothes.
Shorty whole car was rank of pee. The hood, the tires, the gas tank, everything smelled of the old lady pee.
Shorty looked discouraged, as if someone had beaten him physically. I tried to encourage Shorty, but he smelled so rank of pee that I couldn’t stand at his car door to talk to him for very long.
Now, just for the record, I believe that the old lady was wrong to duck Shorty with her pee.
For one thing, democracy could not flourish if you didn’t have willing men and women who were willing to lead. And for the other thing, that old lady knew that pee was too old to duck anybody with, least of all my boy Shorty.
There really should be a law limiting the use of pee in election campaigns.
For one thing, you should not be able to duck anyone with pee that is more than three days old. The other thing, you should not be able to throw pee at all if you are over age sixty. That should be the age limit.
If you are collecting a pension, I’m sorry, but you should not be allowed to throw pee.
You see, in every election there should be reasonable limits. It is enough that politicians tell lies. It is enough that their handlers distort the truth. It should be enough that no major issues are not dealt with. But to throw pee too, well that’s too much!
I believe that instead of going door to door, Shorty should try to set up some debates with some of the leaders of the other parties that he is running against.
Shorty, being a born again liar, should do well in a debate. All he has to do is promise the people everything and give them nothing and he should be well on his way to success in politics.
But to go door to door and have pissed thrown in your face, well that’s just pure dumb. Not to mention the bad luck that comes with it if the piss is over age sixty.

That's just nasty, and I hope it was not true. Boy you see how some people end up in some horrendous situuations, what do you expext when you do stuff like that! You go ahead and do that to me...I'll make sure you'll be sent to a place where you can play with bucksts of piss daily.

lol. at one point, i was thinking he was referring to the Brent Symonette scandal with the 2 old women. and using 'piss' as an analogy for the issue they have with him. i.e., if the issue is as old as they claim (from '67)....it shouldn't be brought up now.

or [light-bulb moment] maybe he's referring to the racism/UBP angle that the PLP has been accused of using. maybe he's saying that for a party that's been out of power for that long.....you shouldn't bring it up now.
