If you speak truth from the Bible then how do you label it as "your truth"?? Ok reword not my truth but other truth found in the Bible happy? If you followed Jesus as you say then you would know that there is only one truth -- as in "I am the truth...the way...the light" --Thats so right "I am the truth" his truth is truth taught by many messengers and teachers. "The Way" The way of life he taught and lived. "the light" a guide to peace with in ones self. Not the Creator but the messenger the teacher and if you have any clue this type of clause in in all religions.. you have no truth.
Which compels me to ask again, exactly which Jesus are you referring to??

The one in the 4 gospels of the Bible and in the Gnostic gospels. As little as I have touched other religions I Also see much of the same truth as Jesus taught.

How ever I do not take any scripture as the ultimate and only word of the Creator or an absolute because it has all come from man....

I wonder if you can grasp this.

You're funny.

You claim to believe that Jesus' words are the truth but then you call it the words of man -- make up your mind.

LOL@ Gnostic Gospels.

Yeah, the movie's in Aramaic. And no, Mel didn't act in it. He was trying to make it as authentic as possible so he picked actors that had middle eastern ancestry.

No I said I live by what Jesus taught as a teacher, messenger, and human being.
His truth is truth like many before and after him. Same message is still truth does not matter the messenger.

You laugh at the Gnostic Gospels? Very good of you. What I have read of them I find interesting.

Quick question of the Topic, but still of religion!

:bouncy: I recently heard that one of the activities that take place at the LODGE is the studying of the unwritten books of the Bible! I also heard that it is some kind of super secret,:shhh: like the Davinci code conveyed, and can not be discussed with people not of the LODGE! Is this any true, and can you explain further!

Whoa! LOL! I see somebody knows more than what they telling! Explain the best way you can, all that you know about this society group!

And Marichal, how do you think I got the notion that they study the unwritten books of the Bible? Thru the Grapevine as usual! That means along some line, a member of the Lodge must have reveled it to an outsider, otherwise I wouldn't have asked!:fly:

I don't know about the lodge stuff but if the study them they are writing in some form or another.
Now I think what you are referring to are the non canonized book/gospels.
aka Gnostic Gospels.

1 No human can take a beating like that loose so much blood and still be able to lift a cross much less carry it as shown in the movie.

You seem to miss the mark though - he wasn't just a human.

In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word WAS GOD.................And the WORD BECAME FLESH!

:)although flesh, he was still God!

Has anyone seen the movie, "The Passion of the Christ?" If so, tell me your impressions. I am not a Christian but I was moved by it.
If you have not seen it, go see it soon. Few movies, or books, have the power to move people - this is one that does. Every Christian should see it. Every Church should encourage their member to see it. It is the story of the death of Christ filmed as if you were really there. Don't miss it! You will be sorry if you do.
