I will give credit, after the line is successful. :voodoo: believe it or not.......this one worked for me.... *guy walks over* hi. *guy smiling (always a plus)* please forgive my selfish behaviour....but i just wanted to come over and introduce myself to you and become the envy of every guy in this room. *this would have elicited a smile from me.....a genuine one* my name's [insert name]. now while this may not work for you (or it may)......depends on how genuine you can come across.....i've noticed that the more sincere a guy is with what he's saying (unless he's absolutely hideous)....the more likely it is he'll at least spark a conversation. which, i guess, is the point of come-on lines. my advice: in your own way.....show your interest (but not in a crude manner) and admit that you're uncomfortable/nervous (that's cute.....to me, at least) b/c chances are, you're not the only nervous one. but YK2, with your intellect and magnetic personality, you should be okay. ;) Tafadhali 05-17-07, - 02:46 PM Do any of the ladies have any good ones to share? It may work on the little gigglers - but that is another thing! The aforementioned woman is looking for a man that has "presence." There is something about him that radiates strength and confidence. I don't think a man can fake that. You either have it or you don't. Time can often give it to you however. Good manners are a great help too I have seldom met a woman that was not impressed by common courtesy. |
