The Senate is a group of rubber stamp-ees. They dont keep nuttin nowhere unfortunately!

That was the problem last term. Thinking, congitating, mulling, deliberating, consulting, considering but not doing.

I'm glad they've been announced, it looks like a good group.

Let's get back to governing, making 'it' happen and overall Bahamian progress...

Im looking forward to this group and how well they will represent the PLP in the senate. I think the choices are fair.:hammer:

I am not so sure about that. It is a lot easier to make noise when one is in opposition that when in power. Look at how Big Bad Brad quietened down when he got a ministry.

I was not aware that the purpose of the FNM was to 'cut down' the PLP's in the Senate.

Is it not fair to expect 'good governance' from the FNM SenaTORS?

Words is that they should be sworn in tomorrow about noon, but parry is taking Fred Mitchell's arguement that the other three senators should be the PLPs as well..

AND I think he wants Mick Halkitis in there.. Mike is not a bad person... I feel if he goes about it the right way.. he could get Mike.. but if he over steps he will get none...

Recall this is Ingraham, not Tommy, nor is this Parry himself...

Like I said, only if Parry plays his cards right... The PLP only has Four (4) no more.. BUT HI, can be nice to him but if Parry allow Fred to cause his problems with HI, Parry will be in for a rude awaking....
