WOW! That's all I can say. I really really love that show! *claps* It's excellent!-not because PLP bashing is in it but because it shows a panel of three people honestly and openly expressing themselves, taking a sharp political analysis and discussing the issues at hand.

I remember listening to a ZNS talk show and the minute a panel member or caller would bash the PLP the host would cut them off. Or if they would bash the FNM they would cut them off. To me that's silly! If you have a talk show in which the purpose is for people to discuss issues and speak their mind I say let them do it.

Take for example in the US. I'll admit I'm a huge Republican fan (not agreeing with everything they do of course-but generally supporting the party) but yet I still watch the show "Real Time" with Bill Maher. Every show they never miss a beat to criticize President Bush or the Republican Party in general -however the panel is allowed to openly express themselves and discuss the issues in that country and for that reason I appreciate it because to me that's how growth takes place.

Can you imagine you life with everyone agreeing with what you say and the moment there is a sharp open criticism against you the individual is cut off-how will there ever be room for growth?

Don't get me wrong-of course one should not surround themselves with all the negative comments said about them all the time.....but sometimes it's good to just suck up our pride, listen and try to improve.

But back to the topic-I could just see a show like this (Controversy TV) in a studio with a audience of 300 people being aired on Bahamian television. Honestly we have sooo much advancement to do as a nation as it relates to domestic and global media as it relates to the quality of production, the "true" freedom of speech and technological advancements.

But we gettin there!:)

Well that's just my bit..........

Hmmmmm...a talk show hosted by Lincoln & Co. Not a bad concept. I tell ya one ting, it would be full of action!

Since the current national television stations are crying for Bahamian content (or should be) maybe Lincoln and friends can develop something like this and sell the idea to one of them.

I must ask you, when you say you want action, and you want real people, do you really think that "more action" would help get the message out. Do you really think that the Bahamian population is ready for "Bahamian shock tv", as it relates to Controversy TV? I don't think so.

Bahamians like gossip and sip-sip. They would eat up such a show.

My problem is folks seperating "real news" from "shock tv"

I don't turn on Inside Edition or Maury Povich for news.

My props to Lincoln on his work on behalf of the Sea Hauler folks.
