I don't think it is...because you don't follow any religion Vicky and you started the thread....it's whether or not Same sex marriage is evil or not....not whether according to ISlam, or Christianity whether it is evil or not...if someone says that it is evil/not because they are of a certain faith...then it is their opinion,....leave it at they...they state their opinion and that's that....now if you want to respond to their comment....do not attack their religion or try to undermine their beliefs just to prove them contrary or whatever....because regardless of religion....some will find it evil / not evil....it's up to the person truthfully...so leave their religious beliefs alone.....let's try that.

I do not attack their faith I attack their hypocrisy. I will not let them use laws in the Bible to tell me, I am wrong when they them selves are breaking laws in the very same Bible. That is hypocrisy. Before they can tell my friends or I our way of life is wrong according to the Bible they must first live by all the laws in the Bible. Them selves.

Hmmmmmmmmm. The way I see it, the Ten Commandments (picked them because they apply to a few of the world religions :D ) boil down to " love one another, serve one another and remember God." Within that context, I have no problem with two consenting adults wanting to make their union legal in the eyes of the law.

And I find it interesting that the same people who would make gay marriage illegal have no issue with keeping heterosexual divorce legal. If straight people are the "chosen" peeps when it comes to marriage, how come so many marriages end in divorce or on-the-side "sweethearting?" Say me dat.

God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve or Eve and Evette. The bible is clear in its teachings and readings that these things are wrong. He said be fruitful and multiple same sexs couple can not do this. It is wrong in my eyes, but i can not make my beliefs be someone elses beliefs. They have to answer to God for what they do. Each man or woman has to answer to God for their own sins :angel:

God is and was love, period. From where I sit, love's the basic ingredient missing from all of these pronouncements judging the love between a man and man to be somehow less than the love between a man and a woman. They dn't know that themselves.I once asked a gay why in the world would you want to join the church knowing that Homosexuality is not excepted there & its like a black man joining the KKK.He tried to give me that same Lala that all sissies & their freinds try to spread about God being all about love.But I would really like to know were they found that from cuz they can't be talking about the God of the Bible who says "depart from me I know you not." :board2:
