The PLP's celebration ad says, "there is more of us than them." I thought the Bahamas was suppose to be one people and one nation. So, how could it be more of us than them?
No wonder why the national average is a "D." the PLP cannot get the fact that 49% FNM votes is more than 47% PLP votes. Or when they say more of us than them, do they mean more blacks than whites:confused:
chancellor 05-25-07, - 05:14 PM They are taking their first steps to an ultimate end. They are leading there people on an assinine vendetta and when the election courts run them back out, they will be very very shame.....or atleast they will finally know the meaning of shame. They trying to make this look like Gore's situation when it is clearly not.
Talk about division.
blacksheep 05-25-07, - 05:17 PM When they say in their celebration ad that, "there is more of us than them." that means that there were more votes against the FNM. 51% (PLP, BDM & Independent combined). In other words, this is NOT FNM COUNTRY as some would try to suggest.
diarra 05-25-07, - 05:20 PM This is the exact representation of divisive political mishief that I told Yk2 is deplorable. And to say that PC as leader of a party allows these type of suggestions to be put into the public and still call him a "peaceful" "collective leader" is foolishness. I really can't stand Christie dem now for this type of stuff. This causing unecessary rifts and arguments all ova the country. Now political party's becoming some sort of fraternity or gang around town.

They don't talk straight. They know people will take that as some call to action...you watch. Then they will turn around and talk about....."oh we is a peacefull party" or some other crap.
Who told them the BDM and IND wants the PLP to speak for them....talking 'bout....US! ROFL!!

Just like how a door open for the PLP against the UBP...the same thing is happening for the PLP.
The PLP like to remember history.
The demise of the UBP began with just one seat.

If I was PLP I would not brag about that! If "there is more of us than them." How come the FNM won?

The fact that the PLP has no respect for the voice of the Bahamian people shouldnt shock no one round here..they een had no respect for the people's voice for their whole five years of governance. So now that they continue to spit in the face of Bahamians and behave as though their democratic choice is irrelevant is just more of the same.

Amen!

silly, but that is my view.. for that matter, a vote in this election wsa againg the government, the FNM was the opposition, so the FNM can combine the votes and come up with the same.. foolishness. Please...
BahamaWave 05-25-07, - 05:55 PM come on guys. he made a simple mistake ok. a slip of the tounge, that's all.

Well they don't have a good history of owning up to mistakes!

hold on, hold on, if you say the BDM/Indep. vote was against the FNM, you can say the same thing for the PLP....a vote for the BDM/Independent is just that....a vote for BDM or Independent...with your reasoning that 51% can swing on both sides depending on who doing the swinging and so far it's only the PLP.
Objective thought 05-25-07, - 06:27 PM silly, but that is my view.. for that matter, a vote in this election wsa againg the government, the FNM was the opposition, so the FNM can combine the votes and come up with the same.. foolishness. Please...
For once you have actually made sense because I thought the same thing.....
The only thing is that it would actually make more sense to put it the other way that you have suggested(ie. they all voted against the governing PLP).
