If you are talking about a minister of the church, I don't know who can do what you are suggesting because if you look at stories like king David in the bible who had a man go to war in the front line so that he could be killed so that he could have his wife, he remained king and a man of God..

WOW!!!! this is shocking news to me. I use to know the Pratt family very well. Having even had the opportunity for one of her scholarships to St. Augustine, which I regret today. I know the young man in question very well, I wont go on the record to say personally because I have been out of the area for some time and he too has been assigned to various islands over the years, we spent sometime together in San Salvador while he was there. But as younger men we played ball together for years. I read the allegations first on this site and was wondering which one of the boys it was, because I know them all. I was surprise again to read that he was promoted to Sergeant, I guess it was for hard work and/or other meritorious functions and not because he was the son of the DPM. But when she was given that cabinet post I always wondered what will happen with him being on the Police Force and his mother is the minister in charge.

Now, given this young man is innocent until proven guilty we cannot condemn him, but the fact that his family, with a DPM at the time and minister of National Security knew about it and try to keep it a hush hush issue indicates that something is afoul. And with all her principles, moral standings, uprightness and a minister of the gospel if this is the way that it is appearing to be I cry shame on the former DPM and would really like to hear what she has to say about the issue. I guess when it is your own flesh and blood, you throw morality out of the window.

If the rape and promotion turns out to be true, the FNM will have a field day on "Ms Upright".

Now, if she knew and did nothing, then she will have to pay the consequences. But what, I ask you, are those consequences? Is it for YOU to say, or the FNM to say? I think NOT!

The God whom she worships will deal with her either in her innocence or guilt. You, my friend, like the rest of us, will have to stand on the sidelines, and wait on The Almighty.

Personally, I haven't heard anything in the news about this situation or even know any of it's details. All I know is that Mother Pratt's son was alledgely under investergation for sexually assulting two under aged females.

First, I want to ask to those that have been following this story in depth, did Mother Pratt actually know that he had been sexually assulting these young girls? Please provide answer with facts and not speculation and gossip whisperings!

Secondly, was the promotion of her son gainfully deserved by him or was this just a mother helping out her son?

Thirdly, If he is guilty and his mother was not aware of his actions, why are you calling for her resignation? With him being a Officer :sparky:, I would say that he is a very capable head strong idividual. So why should she be made to suffer from his mistakes if he is a grown *** man. I think that the embarrasment of the situation is more than enough for her to deal with, being who she is and what she claims to stand for. That should only with stand if she had not known, but if she did, then she should resign.
