lovechild1996 05-27-07, - 05:06 PM I send my comments already but i will have to wait and see adidasboi987 05-27-07, - 05:46 PM From the have you say section Progressive Liberal Party website http://www.myplp.com/haveyoursay.php Mr. Christie I am a second time voter here in Nassau.I am 30 years old, white and proud to be a PLP. A long time ago I came to your farm road office and sat down with you for a short while. We spoke about a few things and after our conversation I knew that one day you would be a great leader. From that day I have been a PLP. A few weeks ago I attended the Young Liberals meeting and was very impressed with it.I am very interested in politics.I have heard alot of people say that the PLP should try and attract some of the white voters.Well sir I would like you to know that I am willing to help in any way that I can. Mr. Chrisite what do you think about a national Debate?I mentioned at the meeting that in my graduating year we had a number of debates.Would it be possible to set up debates held byPLP, members of the FNM and BDMat the high schools through out the Bahamas?Every year students graduate not knowing about politics and a groomed by parents to vote for a particular party. This is a large amount of people and within the next five years thousands of young voters will graduate.Debates are common in schools especially in senior year so this probably would be welcomed by teachers and students. Thank you and I hope that one day we will get to sit down and talk again.Keep your head up Mr. Christie your a great man,the Bahamian people love you and your day will come again. Perry G. Christie: Thank you for your comments and support. I would welcome the opportunity for National Debate. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Thats his best response i understand the time constraints but dang....:dgi: Rory 05-27-07, - 05:46 PM what did you say to him? adidasboi987 05-27-07, - 05:56 PM i just woke back up so i didnt have the oppurtunity to ask a question... Objective thought 05-27-07, - 06:59 PM Oh I sent him a message! :) Two to One it woun't get to him though. Sounds like you are another one of those persons who have no respect for his/her leaders. While HI is PM and must be respected, PC is also leader of the opposition and should also be respected... BUT I still hope that they give him the note so that he can see that there are still some persons out there who don't worth talking to!!! adidasboi987 05-27-07, - 07:06 PM Sounds like you are another one of those persons who have no respect for his/her leaders. While HI is PM and must be respected, PC is also leader of the opposition and should also be respected... BUT I still hope that they give him the note so that he can see that there are still some persons out there who don't worth talking to!!! he doesnt have the right to say that...he must value everyone's opinion and take it for whats it worth...he is the one seeking votes not vice versa.. Did you respect HI for the past 5 years? runner6602 05-27-07, - 08:27 PM was reading some of the comments from the PLP website,in the "have your say section" while PC was online, someone asked him if he intended to stay on as leader, well he didnt answer the question directly, he said he proposed to continue in leadership of the PLP, Is there a difference in sayin , I will continue as leader of the plp? BUT I still hope that they give him the note so that he can see that there are still some persons out there who don't worth talking to!!! Yeah I figured a typical PLP would have replyed to that with their presumptuous postings. For your information I addressed him as Sir or Mr. Christie throughout the message in a professional manner and even stated that I respected him for his office. Simultaneously I also voiced my concerns about his party very humbly and respectfully if I must say so myself. The reason why I said it would not get to him is because, like all PLP's, they only want to hear when people praising them and nothing else! pepper 05-27-07, - 08:33 PM Sounds like you are another one of those persons who have no respect for his/her leaders. Sunnyjohn 05-27-07, - 08:44 PM Man yinna still caught up in des parties It's about DA ISSUES (the D- rating in the schools, the health care system, the illegal immigrants, the poachers, the drugs, the prison, the economy, future development, etc....) NOT des blasted parties. If we would hold all these leaders's feet to the fire (PLP, FNM. BDM) and stop asking for fridge (sorry Rory), stove and government largesse during elections AND FORCE THEM TO DEBATE THE ISSUES we would see some real action in this country. *suck teeth* Tafadhali 05-28-07, - 07:48 AM Perry G. No rehearsed speeches or anything like that. this would proberly open the eyes of persons who just go ahead and surpport what their family or friends are surpporting. this should really be considered! |
