Just when I thought it was safe to log onto this board again, I gotta leave, if the FNM is the new government why so much talk about the PLP, if you dont believe me take a look at the threads in this topic.

Whats up with that? Yall trying to put a nail in their coffin aye? Are we so busy lambasting the former government that we are not paying attention to the present?

Lets move on we have bigger fish to fry.

It scares me that this board has drawn political lines, are we going to be seperated by Party? Political persuasions? Shouldnt we be more concerned about the running of our country than petty Politics ... lets stop all the "my party always right, even when they wrong they still right", talk.

To the PLP's its okay your party lost the election life goes on, you have another five years to get your act together, brush up where you need to. You're the oppostion, oppose all you want but think country first so dont be petty.

To the FNM's its okay your party won the government, celebrate all you want, but be expected to be opposed, be expected to be criticized (sp), we as a people want whats best for our country, so this government will be held accountable, as would any government, past and present.

To the BDM keep hope alive, you'll be a force to reckon with next five years.

We need peace BI lets be an example to the Bahamas, where we respect each others views without calling names and fanning flames especially FNMs and PLPs lets move on.

I think your plea will be falling on deaf ears. It seems the battle lines have been drawn and it's on.
I am a new member to ths forum and already, I have been labelled a PLP simply because of my views on one topic. It is incredible how quickly people draw conclusions about ones political affiliation based on ones view on a particular topic.
It is so indicative of the narrow-mindedness of many Bahamians. We are so intolerant of other peoples opinions, religious persuasions, and orientation; we should be celebrating our differences instead of degrading each other because of it.

it is plps and your leader that causes all of this because youll cant accept youll lost. we cannot move forward if perry tellin plps to keep your yellow shirts on and come downtown to protest every time parliament meets so don't talk **** bout fnms.

My leader? You can search all you want, you will not find me ever saying PC is my leader, or that I apporve of his leadership style. If you are referencing election court, I think the FNM has their own issue with election court challenges. It is the process, nothing more.

Thing is I dont know when this FNM vs PLP thing started here and I'm no fan of politics AT ALL. So what I do is just refrain from posting in a majority of em. But as the election becomes more and more of a distant memory, it will calm down. But the thing is also, alot of these threads are based on news stories and the media is still reporting these post election stories every day.
