i hope that they go through with the flogging but 14 years is too lenient. He deserves life without parole AND castration for what he did to that little girl. and his lawyer has the nerves to be happy with the sentence. he deserves to rot in heck for saying that. aint nothing to be happy about for a man to get a lite sentence for destroying that lil girl's life.

her innocence was stolen with help(that of love and support from family ad friends and a child psycologist) life can and will begin anew.
dont be mad at the lawyer their duty is to give their client the best deal...now lets watch and see how many years mother pratt son get.

ZNS news reported this morning that he was remorseful and sorry for what he did. he said he was under the influence of Ecstacy and some other drug, alcohol I think, not sure. but boy I would have loved to have seen him put on that act. musta bin an oscar winning performance.

Ammendment needs to be made to the Sexual Offences Act, especially when it involves a minor. Will this man be mentally fit after seven years in Fox Hill? I doubt it. His sentence should have been life.

I just read the article o.k. I was not wrong when this incident first came out on the news the very first time it had happened it stated that the mother had sent him to collect the child from school that was why i had said all of that but I haven't even heard of the case anymore since it came up this week o.k. and I just read the article where the child was kidnapped and the morning it came over on the news it was saying that the gaurdian had sent him to pick the child up from school due to her not being able to leave her job to get the child so you can't blame me for miss led information by the media o.k.

what a shame. i know the judge and prosecution wanted to give him more and worst than that but the can only operate within the confines of the law. therefore the laws need to be changed.

also i thought some new laws concerning abuse of children was enacted?

OrganiZations that are sympathetic to criminals such as amnesty international is partly the reason for the light sentences. this man is deserving of death.
