B21 this could be a long argument and i wont be up that late, I am gonna be honest, tho. After 85-86 the Bears were bad and you couldnt find many Bearfans owning up to the stinkness.
But for the last 6-7 years we owned the NFC north, I'll give it to you, the Packers had it great years with Favre but really he should leave now, I read he's coming back for another season.
As for the Bears I see us back to the superbowl again. There will be many bandwagoners but us true Bearfans we are proud of whats happening now because we endured all those horrible years and #1 and first round picks that never worked out, im so glad to be a contender these days. 10yrs plus ago I couldnt even pick my own team on my pool sheet. That hurt then.
I hope to be alive to see my Celtics get back to the glory days as well.

Have you or have you not lost you ever loving mind? The toughest pro atlethe in this sports era should retire? YOU are making it worst between me and you. This man is a football god! How dear you insult his legacy with your blasphemy. He will retire when he is good and ready. You, Lovie, Grossman, Urlacher, and rest of those country bumpkins need to retire. Brett is the greatest QB of the history of American Football. I live and die football by that name!

Brett is fabulous......but wa about the magnificent one.....the great John Elway? Noone could fire a ball or run ova defensemen like Elway @ 6'4" and 250lbs he was fun to watch.I feel Roman Gabriel was the first expirament for the "big powerfu"l NFL quarterback and Elway was the perfection of that expirament.Go Patriots!:)

Yeah I really liked Elway to, but I tend to shy away from who the whole of Nassau likes, ya know? Before Farve, I was the biggest Jim Kelly/Bills fan. I liked the Marino's and the Montana's, Steve Young and Cunningham, but I don't like to pull for fellas that everyone worship. With Brett it's different, I was there from his begining, he is like my sports son. :) Most everyone in Nassau is a Dolphin Fan, everyone is a Laker fan, everyone is a Braves fan. Do these people even bother to go out the norm reform. I remember in 1994 I think is when the Cowboys won the championship, I mean every body was jumping on da band wagon. I find that so pittiful. Some of these supposed sports fans are really shallow and two faced. They can't take they defeat like a MAN!

The Yankee moral so low over here that you can stand outside Yankee stadium and buy box seats tickets almost at cost nowadays. The Mets are really the ones keeping NY baseball alive.........

Here my 2 cents,

The Yankees will be fine! In the second half of the season they will be awesome as usual and make it to the ALCS and then on to the World Series. They have a good line up with good back up players and the picthing will get better with the addition of the "Rocket".
As for Brett Farve, maybe he should retire. He is one of the best QB of all time, he should go out on top with good memories and not try to stretch out, prolong his career. Maybe he wants to make a run at Marino's record but he QB rating is going to be terrible, i.e. if he doesnt have any good WR or TE to throw to.

*cough*Yankees suck!*cough* lol.

but seriously, the Yankees are a disappointment waiting to happen. They're the '06-'07 Miami Heat of baseball right now. overly paid...overly hyped....and overly cocky.

gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Red Sox!

p.s. - i really don't follow baseball.....except for the postseason.

Well since the Detroit Pistons, season and possible team is done I guess I can start to follow the Detroit Tigers now, who made it to the world series last year, and crushed the Yankees in the process.

Yankees are like the Lakers, yeah you can fill your squad with the highest paid players, but that does not mean you will win.

Cant stand the Red Sox, with a passion actually. Probably cuz I hated the state of Boston from time began. But yeah, we (Yankees) ain't looking too good at all, plus Clemens has a scar tissue in his groin of all places...... go figure. That was yet another bonehead move by Yankee brass to give him that type of contract. Then again he receives not a dollar of it until he actually pitches in a MLB game so the hope now is that he would retire again before then.

Well If you said Blue Jays, I would know you are a true true member, and not a bandwagoner. Because you sticking with your team through the ups and down. Thats coming from a Big time and still Buffalo Bills fan.

Anyway, you havent heard of Boston's Japanese phenom pitcher(DICE), just signed this year, who they paid couple million just to have an interview with.

Go figure Boston beginning to operate like the Yankees now.

Go Tdot

Yep Boston is. Mainly cuz they were meeting the Yankees in almost every playoff in the past 6 yrs. If ya can't beat em might as well join em mentality. And almost every Boston fan pissed themselves when the first pitch ever thrown by their Japanese heater was knocked almost back to Inagua....... Lol that was tooo funny. The Yanks have gone too far with throwin money around. Plus building a new stadium and taking a huge park off of 161st for a parking lot that was used by the area kids still isn't sitting good with NYers. But they are a high revenue attraction so i guess they don't really care......

Im a big yankee fan too, we are in a sad state right now. I we need help. We should be more ahead by now
I would have let Torre go last season and get Sweet lou in there to force those hit money players to produce
We need to add some fire under them
Yankees For Life.
