Dat woman used to be real hot. She een no drag queen. Born n Wales, to a Nigerian father and British Mother. Big-up with daughter at 16. Waitress in her early years. The only singer to ever perform two James Bond movie theme songs -- Golden Finger, and I don't know the other.

@Adidias
Ms. Bassey is no drag queen. I have seen some older footage of her back from the 60's and 70's, she was and still is quite a stunner.

@ Lurker
She recorded three James Bond theme songs. 'Goldfinger' in 1964, 'Diamonds are Forever' in 1971, and 'Moonraker' in 1979.

teniel and lurker...the drag queen comment wasnt at all an insult to Ms. Bassey...I am familiar with and love nearly every song she has sung...
I who have nothing
Goldfinger
Diamonds are forever
Moonraker
This is my life
Big spender
and the list goes on..
The drama, elegance and poise she brings to the stage is why i made the comment...hence many drag performers use her songs...in hindsight...DIVA may have been a better adjective...
