and the minute you begin to make in-roads and actually develop a constructive programme......... ya either get rob of opportunities or ostracized as being "presumptious". Don't even mention the fact that some political party ga try latch on to ya like a leech and proclaim all ya success form your hardwork as a direct effect of their policies etc.....We really don't highlight ingenuity at all.....

Well I'll be dag gum if some political party tries to take credit for my hard work.

Ok..... the dude who just called in talking about CSME and the cultural fest in October.... Uhm.... he say he had cow foot souse from Nigeria, beer from Colombia and rum from Cuba..... Is there really any surprise that levels of CSME have been thriving in the Bahamas for some time and the fact that we have no choice but to join at some level?

People talk about it, because they haven't received closure...
That's why it ga keep coming it...sad...Until there is a national debate with all sides accepting our past as the past and that our history belongs to everyone, it ga keep coming up. There is nothing wrong with being decendants of slaves or decendants of slave masters...

Oh no, he didn't just say lower taxes on corporations. Where is the fool that argued about how corporations were getting away without being taxed.

LOL....

He worth a good listen doe ting-um...give him a chance. He did say spread the taxes around, which is the first step. That does not include a tax break "omnibus" to the business persons. They need to pay their bills!

If you can not pay for a business permit, then you should re-condider going into business. Our business permit rates are reasonable as is.
