When you just don’t fit.
You live every day hiding it
The fact that you just don’t fit
You pretend to live life like everyone around you
It’s a must that you learn how to pretend to fit
Or everyone around you will know you just don’t fit
You keep it a secret and live a lie
Or you tell your truth
And many around you just wish you would die
You seek out other people that just don’t fit
They say they understand you and know just what you mean.
After a while you feel some kinship with the other people that just don’t fit
Then they set boundaries for those they see as their kind
They do not see that even they have now made you someone that just does not fit
Alone with even with those that love you because they don’t understand what it is
When you just don’t fit
