The type of sloops designed, built and raced in the Bahamas now are unique. They are found nowhere in the world. He has three models out on the porch that he used to go out on the beach and sail. I remember he built them to be so fast that sometimes they outrun him....sailing out into the horizon. He won all the races and we still have the floating trophies....in fact the other became so discouraged by my dad's competition that I have not heard of another race and we have the floating trophy forever!...lmao!
