Thank you but I think Rory is entitle to his or her own opinion. I'm American and these may bore me most days but we live in a world where living and dying by the sword is survival of the fittest :taped2: . Instead of showing :heartbeat love in our hearts we rather kill each other. Rory thinks someone worships the devil based not seeing that hate is our greatest enemy. I am just 17 years old in my life I had to endure alot and beat the confound statistics place on me by the ignorant people of the world. My only advice is that Rory look to the inside for a spiritual anointing. :angel:
Most of the world lives with a prayer book in one hand and a sword in the other. The reality of life is that from time to time, we need both. The real trick is to know when to use which one and of course how to use them! Both can be used or misused.

I agree but when and how to use them?
I agree but when and how to use them?
If the prayer book stands for our religion then we can see that some use religion as a sword. They twist their religion around so that it justifies, or even demands, the use of the sword. These people do not know what religion is for. They don't know how to use it, so they pervert it.
As for the sword, which stands for violence. It should only be used in protection of the innocent. To use it for personal gain is unskillful.

Christians are not allowed to hate their enemy to the point of killing them,
instead we are instructed to pray for our enemies.
Matthew 5
42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Bin Laden is righteous in his own eyes, but murder, particularly of people who have not directly harmed him and his followers is wrong and evil.
We must love our enemies ...
Romans 12
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Those that are lead into evil are convinced by the devil that what they are doing is actually for the good of mankind, that is why christians of the past killed people. But our only enemy is satan and his demons that persuade men to do evil by confusing their minds with what seems like the truth ...
2 Corinthians 10
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
we are not to to take lives of our enemies ....
Ephesians 6
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
One of the main jobs of christians is not to kill, but to save souls. You cannot save souls by killing them. Every person that is killed that has not been saved is a victory for satan - he does not want our enemies to be saved.
Ephesians 6
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
God is the only being allowed to punish sinners, christians are suppose to help them - but that does not mean that we should fly over there and preach to Bin Laden.
That would be stupid, and the outcome would be obvious.

There can never be justification in anyone hating anyone, regardless of religion/ creed/ belief. Regardless of what difference there is between people, hate is never justified. If a person concedes that they have done wrong and ask for forgiveness, then it is everyone's duty to forgive that person if they are sincere. (in this case Bin Laden if he were to do that) However, this does not mean that people who are guilty of certain crimes against humanity should be forgiven and go unpunished, if they continually commit these undesirable acts against mankind. Now if you look at it there are many people who have done an injustice against humanity...just look at any war since the beginning of time. They all should be punished, and should seek forgiveness for their actions. Hate and violence against one another is wrong in anyone's eyes, which makes me wonder sometimes how GOD in the bible chose to deliver warriors' enemies to them so that they could be destroyed. But then I come to this realization,...not everyone realizes that what they do on a day to day basis is wrong, and won't heed to a kind word or gesture to persuade them to live a good live without hate/violence, and sometimes to stop this violence from spreading, it must be met with violence. (kind of like fighting fire with fire) It seems to be a contradiction at times but it is the way the world has come to be. For if it was not this way, we would have world peace, then we would not waste our time on such topics as this. Still, the year is 2004, and there is no end in sight of the hate/violence/discrimination, that we often wield against each other.
