If Lot was on good terms with the King of Sodom doesn't that say something about the city being hospitable??
But all the rest of the references to Sodom do.
Shall I post them again for you???? FYI many of the references are about idolatry.
1. Comatose is different from asleep. A comatose man can't have sex. People can't respond to stimuli while comatosed. While asleep I can. I have. Yes, you can consent to sex even if you are drugged or drunk. Its rape if you are drugged against your will. But drunk people have sex all the time. How else do we explain your presence.
Sex with out consent it is rape you nor anyone else can change this.
2. God told Lot that if there were ten righteous people found there that he would not destroy the city. Again you type with out research. God/The Creator did not talk to Lot about the righteous people found in Sodom.
Oh and here is food for thought. Is not God/The Creator all powerful all knowing. Why would God/The Creator need to go check up on Sodom. Would not God/The Creator know. So the angels came to find the righteous people living in Sodom to justify not destroying it. If Lot was out of town and they found 8, then the city would've been destroyed. They got there and the men of the city didn't taunt them or throw stones at them or show them any kind of hostility. They wanted to welcome them to the town by having a big ole gay orgy. Really! please post a reference to this. Shocked and dismayed that homos were so prevalent, the angels were disgusted and decided that it didn't matter how many righteous lived in Sodom. Because the men engaged in such behavior it blackened the whole city. So they burnt it to the ground.Really! please post a reference to this.

All of the warping of context and definitions in the world can't change that fact. Nowhere in the Bible did God ever say "Thou shalt not be inhospitable". Hebrews 13:2 (King James Version)
2Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. If he did, he never said it to the Egyptians who enslaved Jews for 400 years. He never said it to Canaanites or Menonites who constantly fought the Jews. He never said it to Rome, and it was the Romans who killed his son. Where you got this ridiculous argument is beyond me. Homosexuality is the only *SIN* that God calls an abomination.
Please research before you type. Seems to me you are responding just to hear your self.

Not murder, not suicide, not rape, not even disbelief in God. Oh and to add, Lot's daughters got their father drunk and had sex with them.

Genesis 19:31-32

"And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth: Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father."

If we follow your idiocy, then they were just like the men of Sodom. They raped their father, just like the men of Sodom, as you so retardly suggest, wanted to rape Lot's guests. Did anything happen to them for such an act that Sodom was destroyed for?? No.

Two very different points. But what I am saying is:
The men of Sodom did not want to have sex with the 2 men in Lots house. Ref. "yadha". You could not prove your point on that.
But if you insist they did want to have sex with them was it consensual??
If it was not consensual it would have been rape.
Rape can never = consensual sex of any kind. Not even homosexual.

Please try again but do reserch before you type.

Nice copy and paste job.

You ended up saying nothing.

Genesis 18:32

"And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once; Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake".

I read a few of the examples you gave for the word "abomination". Now show me where what was referred to as an "abomination" was considered a *SIN*. Did you notice I capitalized the word *SIN*.

Then I went back and looked at some of the references you said about Sodom. I should've known that I should've checked them the first time. But I look at one in Deut -- the entire chapter was about who of the Isrealites neighbors they were allowed to commune with. Who was holy and who was unholy. So I can see how you and the queer coalition could warp that into Sodom being "unhospitable" -- but unless you read the entire chapter in its full context, you could create -- just as you have -- all kinds of weird crap.

No its not. You said that sex is rape without consent, and you suggested that this is the type of hostile behavior that Sodom was destroyed for. Well, Lot's daughters "RAPED" Lot because they did it without his consent. They should've been destroyed for carrying on what the Sodomites did. So either you are wrong about the Sodomites wanting to rape the Angels or you are wrong about your definition of rape.

And yes I very much proved my point about "yadha".

It was used twice in that chapter. Once when the Sodomites referred to the angels and once when Lot referred to his daughters. Both contexts meant the same thing. To have sex with.

As I said before, angels are asexual beings. They have no desire for or against sex.

which makes both my points. Sodom was not destoried because of consensual homosexual sex. Because as you say the angels did not consent and it was not destoried because of the intent to rape the angels. These are leaps of interpratation that have to be made to try and put the homosexual twist.
Jewish girls live a very sheltered and protected life. They were most likely never aquanted with any men. They would have known/been aquanted with boys but not men.

As I said before, angels are asexual beings. They have no desire for or against sex. Then it was not homosexual was it. An asexual with a male can't equal homosexual.

What the angels wanted or did not want does not matter. Its what the men of Sodom wanted that is in question.

1. Genesis ch 18

God was going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah before these men made their gay requests. The gay invitation just threw gasoline on an already lit flame. We've already established that "yadha" was a sexual knowledge. This rewriting of the facts is tiresome.

2. The men of the town wanted to know the *MEN* staying with Lot. We've already talked about this. The men of Sodom didn't know that these were angels. They didn't know that they were asexual. They *SAW* men. They *WANTED* men. So their intentions were homosexual.

Uh no. We have established that over 900 times yadha meant simply to know. You are trying to say that is one time it meant consensual homosexual sex. We have also established that rape can never equal consensual homosexual sex. Sorry but you just can't change what is actually written.

Oh yeah thats right your objective search and post. The one where you found a bit about the word yadha that had much missing from it. I wounder how many sites you had to read until you found that one. Because when I searched yadha in yahoo on the first 2 pages every thing that was in english confirmed what I was saying. Oh and by the way I also posted those results.

There is no reference in the Bible that links homosexuality to Sodom and no matter how you or anyone else tries you can't make it so. Yadha will never equal consensual homosexual sex nor will it equal rape.

You or any one else may try again if you like.

I don't have to. This entire endeavor is silly. Homosexuals are the only deviants in society hellbent on using the Bible of all books to defend their homosexuality. We can disregard the story of Sodom and Gomorrah because it is obvious, just as many people have agendas on both sides of the issue. So you'll find opinions that support your beliefs and I'll find opinions that support mine.

What will not happen and cannot happen is a justification for deviant behavior based on Biblical teachings.

I posted a story about Lot's daughters engaging in incest. How many people you know on this planet that are dumb enough to use this as a justification for their incestuous behavior?? None.

Abraham was told by God to murder his son. How many people you know on this planet that are dumb enough to use this as a justification for their murderous behavior -- well there are pretty stupid people but there's no way they'll get away with it.

Same with rape.

Same with adultery.

You name it.

So I wonder why homosexuals, which the Bible and christianity as a whole have demonized for centuries, would have the gall to use the Bible and christianity to defend faggotry. That is insane to me. I think the funny thing is that the secular discussions have failed. Homosexuality isn't genetic like they've been arguing for years. So they switch gears to argue that it is divine will that they sissy another man or woman.

This is so true but like you those on the opposing side of GLBT leave things out so it will read as you would liked it to.

Just as it was justified to stop murdering people for simply being left handed or because they knew bush medicine. Thats right christians demonized them to and used the Bible to justify it. Now we (GLBT) to are saying its enough. Just as those that stood to stop the murder of human beings (witches) studied the Bible and its sources. We are studing the Bible and its sources and saying to you and those like you, You are wrong you are hypocrits. It had to be done to save people from the witch (human beings) burnings.

So I wonder why homosexuals, which the Bible and christianity as a whole have demonized for centuries,My point made you see as soon as you see us as human beings you lose. As to the centuries no matter how longits has been it can never make it right. No matter how long people thought the world was flat could the ever make it flat. Even if the Bible referred to the 4 corners of the earth and we know a globe has not corners. would have the gall to use the Bible and christianity to defend faggotry. Christians have used the Bible to defend the torture and murder of hundreds of thousands of men women and children. That is insane to me. Now here you have said a mouth full. I think the funny thing is that the secular discussions have failed. Homosexuality isn't genetic like they've been arguing for years. So they switch gears to argue that it is divine will that they sissy another man or woman.

They do not say it is genetic but the do say it is from the womb. You are born GLBT or str8. Genes are not the only thing that determines how a child will turn out.

Oh in looking at a transgender bridal site I got lead to this site.

I don't tri...or bi..

I'm heterosexual. So you can save your tri for your boyfriend or girlfriend or whatever one you flip the coin for today.

I won't apologize for christianity, I'm smarter than that. But if I see somebody do something stupid, then I won't repeat their stupidity. You are saying "well, christians did it -- so why can't I". The point is, the first time christians did it, they made a mistake. Everybody knows it was a mistake. A big big mistake. But knowing that they made a mistake and you come following their footsteps and admittingly making the same mistake makes you so much less than the ones you fighting against.
