View Full Version : Homosexual Marriages
Abiskan Moon-Angel 07-18-05, - 05:08 PM Also I have another topic..actually, it might tie in nicely. i met this very interesting guy over drinks one night. we got into a discussion about talented people. he takes the opinion that talent does not exist. he claims children who 'seem' talented because they have a certain inclination to be able to do things long before their peers are not 'talented' but have been exposed to a particular surrounding - which explains their 'talent'. i disputed this...to a certain extent. in some ways, it ties in with our topic - as it relates to amorphism (i guess :screw: )...but anyway, i finally relented, and said perhaps you have a point. but i retorted by asking him about gifted children. those not exposed to foreign languages or geometry for example who are able to speak another language fluently or memorise things at a very young age. he didnt buy it - went with the same argument - giftedness doesnt exist.
Question: does talent really exist, or is it something we have an inclination to because of our surroundings? Mikki you should be an expert!
Abiskan Moon-Angel 07-18-05, - 05:11 PM No. It couldn't be that their surroundings changed
 uahh? why not? are you then saying you can be completely certain of your sexuality, but if you go to Fox Hill that can never change? even if you are there for the next 20 years?
Vicky 07-18-05, - 05:24 PM even though its scary to think about. i must say you do have a good point, i hope more see it that way.
BTW- WE ALMOST THERE 491
It is not a good point it is in fact a very bad point. This point is made on an assumption a heterosexual assumption.
If all the women in the world died would you be sexually attracted to a man?
Assuming you are heterosexual. Can you imagine getting on you knees and doing a guy orally? Can you imagine kissing a guy? I kissed a guy in my early years it was gross I mean really gross. He did not have bad breath or any thing like that just the touch of his face on mine yuk. I don't know how else to describe it but it is very repulsive to even think about. I knew then and there I was not gay but I still did not know what I was.
Abiskan Moon-Angel 07-18-05, - 05:30 PM I kissed a guy in my early years it was gross I mean really gross
Vicky do you have a girlfriend/boyfriend? im confused...you are biologically male right?
Abiskan Moon-Angel 07-18-05, - 05:31 PM I DID IT!!!! 5-0-0!!!!!!!!! :bigmouth:
:cutie:
tingumdem 07-18-05, - 05:44 PM You don't seem like much of a realist to me at all. You seem like just another misguided hetero that assumes every gay man you meet must want to be a woman. God forbid a man actually be comfortable with himself as a man and still be attracted to another man, because that would be impossible, wouldn't it??? :taped2:
mis guided !
you made a circle then now try to force a square peg through it and and pass it off as a normal thing give me a break to me all human gender finding themselve going for their same gender intimatley should know that it is un natural afection for one another
miss guided you say if that is so the whole torah is miss guided YAH my EL is miss guided

Teniel 07-18-05, - 05:59 PM Dis one long a** thread. Are we even still on topic with this one?
Teniel 07-18-05, - 06:07 PM  uahh? why not? are you then saying you can be completely certain of your sexuality, but if you go to Fox Hill that can never change? even if you are there for the next 20 years?
It sounds like you are saying that sexuality is based predominantly on environment. If that were the case, then all girls schools and all boys schools would be filled to the brim with homosexuals. If someone has the unfortunate circumstance of going to fox Hill prison, more than likely their homosexual encounter was forced and not consentual, i.e. rape.
It isnt that people are unsure of their sexuality, people are either afraid to admit it and accept it (and accept that society may not accept them fully). I say move on, once you are comfortable with who you are. If more people felt that way we wouldnt have these long threads of back and forth regurgitations.
Vicky 07-18-05, - 06:08 PM Bahmaboy:
I'm trying to contribute as best I can. This should be 492.
Vicky:
1. Asking a person questions is not an objective study. So you can understand someone better if they are dead or by studying a carrot. If I go into proving why, all I'll hear is "Don't try to act smarter than us". You just said yourself "truth is not fact". I'm not saying I disagree either way. I'm saying that you are contradicting yourself here.
2. Wow. Genes aren't the only thing in the womb?? Surprise surprise. There's probably a baby in there too. Listen *YOU* said genes and chromosomes. I am simply responding to what *YOU* said. And *YOU* are still confused, even about what you said.
I have made my point which ever way you want to put it. fetal development is not just from genes. Genes are the building block of DNA. The blocks (genes) are assembled to the DNA differently for each and every one of us. We might have the same genes but it is how the are assembled that make us different. You know blue eyes brown eyes.
Genes are joined into a strand this is DNA. Each chromosome has a DNA molecule.
And I will say it again don't forget the hormones in the womb.
3. You don't find men attractive. Not even a tiny bit. I can only take you at your word. There was a time when I swore that finding men attractive was disgusting. But I'm secure in my sexuality. People that can't admit that they can be attracted to both genders are in denial. In denial of what? Simple as that. Argue if you wish but I won't respond further. Not on this point. I think its ridiculous to say you're a man and you can't be attracted to men when you've never met every man alive. The same if your any gender or sexual preference.
4. Platonism and Pythagorianism are pagan. So more than those 2 influenced Christianity The similarities to Buddhism are merely cosmetic. I don't thing so, Buddhism comes from Hinduism.
India is a part of the middle east. You can walk from China to Israel India is in between. To make the comparison is to say that Mayan and Incan myths have influenced christianity when they aren't on the same continent even thought they have some of the same myths.
5. The reference has everything to do with race. You wanted to play the victim. So you drew the comparison of an oppressed people versus an oppressive people, which I found insulting. If you wanted to say that we were different there are hundreds of comparisons you could've drawn. Man vs woman. Jews vs muslim. Vegan vs carnivore. Prostestant vs catholic.
You have no clue. Actually I just finished watching "Into The West" So it was just what was on my mind. It was not meant as a race insult if you took it as that I am sorry. But This proves another point as to context of the writer and the Bible.
6. I know you weren't the only one that said I post a lot. But you should be the last one to say that I post a lot.
7. You are trying to be inflammatory. Did I say the bahamas teaches and promotes heterosexuality??
Are you now suggesting the Bahamas does not have a society?
Finekameo:
1. Can you give me a definition of "homosexuality" without it being defined as a 'behavior'. If you call it an experience -- it is a behavior. You can slice it anyway you wish. Behavior is what you'll arrive at. But I'm assuming you know better than I do. So would you kindly enlighten me??
2. How is it nonsense that homosexual men can't be honest?? You yourself that homosexuals have tried to fit into society. I've known many that have had girlfriends, some even have kids, but swear that they've been homosexual all their lives. There are many that go to prison and find their sexuality there. Some go to the military and find themselves there. This is not farfetched or nonsensical. It is perfectly logical because you'd be hardpressed to find a heterosexual man willing to admit that he finds guys attractive -- so its not surprising that you'd find a homosexual man willing to admit that he'd find a woman attractive. But I wonder why you accept the former and not the latter.
Vicky 07-18-05, - 06:12 PM Vicky do you have a girlfriend/boyfriend? im confused...you are biologically male right?
I have a very supportive wife with whom I am very much still in love with. I can't see my life with out her.

Vicky 07-18-05, - 06:16 PM Dis one long a** thread. Are we even still on topic with this one?
Yes because all of thsi stuff has to be gone thorugh to get to the top.
finekameo 07-18-05, - 06:45 PM 3. You don't find men attractive. I can only take you at your word. There was a time when I swore that finding men attractive was disgusting. When I read posts like this I am happy that you are here. It is refreshing to have a hetero male that is honest enough with himself and comfortable enough with himself to speak the truth.
1. Can you give me a definition of "homosexuality" without it being defined as a 'behavior'. If you call it an experience -- it is a behavior. You can slice it anyway you wish. Behavior is what you'll arrive at. But I'm assuming you know better than I do. So would you kindly enlighten me??
Let me just make sure there is no misunderstanding between us. You stated previously that homosexuality is a behaviorism, not a behavior. Since I take it that you are using behaviorism in this sense to mean the division of psychology itself, the statement is incorrect. In the psychological community, homosexuality does not necessarily fall into that division.
2. How is it nonsense that homosexual men can't be honest?? You yourself that homosexuals have tried to fit into society. I've known many that have had girlfriends, some even have kids, but swear that they've been homosexual all their lives. There are many that go to prison and find their sexuality there. Again you ramble on and haven't really addressed what I stated. This has nothing to do with finding someone attractive since I agreed with you about sexuality being a spectrum. Most men are reluctant to admit they find another male attractive, but many do. So we agree on that part. You stated that if all men died and the last man was a homosexual he would probably have sex with women. Yes, some homosexual men do find women attractive, but that doesn't mean that they all do by any means. Your statement, again using sweeping generalizations, implied that regardless of where this last remaining homosexual was on the spectrum and whether or not he is one of the homosexuals that does find females attractive, he would have sex with them. Does anyone else see something wrong with this??
finekameo 07-18-05, - 06:55 PM you made a circle then now try to force a square peg through it and and pass it off as a normal thing give me a break to me all human gender finding themselve going for their same gender intimatley should know that it is un natural afection for one another
Why should they "know" it is unnatural? I for one don't know this. I don't think it. I don't believe it. Just because you "know" this doesn't make it fact.
miss guided you say if that is so the whole torah is miss guided YAH my EL is miss guided
YAH said that before one of his words come back to him void the heavens and the earth shal sease from exixtance

LOL...I find this so amusing. Can I just agree with what you said here...LOL
For the record, I am very much atheist, so I don't believe in YAH my EL or the Bible. This quote seems very myopic, as in you assume that I must be Christian or believe in God.
finekameo 07-18-05, - 07:01 PM Yes because all of thsi stuff has to be gone thorugh to get to the top.
I guess. But what else do you expect when you get a hetero person implying that he knows more about homosexuality than a homosexual person? The audacity.
