How far is it from Nassau to Current Island?

go to www.bahamasferries.com and check the schedule ... the sealink usually takes about two and one-half hours, drops you off in the middle of current, and it's a blast of a ride.

the boat's not as updated as the bo hengy, but you'll have a great time. i just bring a pinder's conch salad (potters quay dock) and kalik along

Look at this and tell me why we don't have a bridge from East Nassau to the cays off that end on to Current Island then on to Current Settlement on the mainland????

gotta admit, it IS pretty funny to consider! think of the reality show we could produce, the royal bahamas defence boston whaler boats below flying all over the place to catch the cars falling off of the bridge at top speed.

the fast ferry goes to The Current on the northern point of Eleuthera, not Current Island. Current island is off the coast of Current Eleuthera. 2 entirely different places.
