I've heard of a musician (Exuma) that was born on CI but moved to NYC during the 60's, I've also heard that one should not freely talk about his music because his realtion to voodoo is not well accepted is this true. Also, does CI honor this man with a music festival each year?

I thought it be best to keep his name out of matters thats for you help, anyone know if CI recognizes his life with an annual concert.
I did find the first website some time back when I was looking to find why Exuma's Island name came into being, is it because the Exumians don't like being compared to the musician and his life?
