If he was "actively" involved in the death of this 16 yr old then charge him as an adult is what we do.............. 13 ain't too old to hang! And for God sake don't go having no pity on these dudes. A 13yr old has sense or is should at least be able to deduce right from wrong. He associated himself with the actors of the crime hence if pressured to or called upon he had the same intentions as any of the others in inflicting as much pain or even causing the death of their victim. I ein feel sorry for none of em.....Or ya can gee the 13rd life with a chance for review when he turns 18 or so... but his hip need to sit in maximum with every other criminal.

This country needs one hell of a good scare. Something to make everyone realize that the problems today are trivial compared to the powers of mother nature or al Quaida.

This PLP/FNM bullcrap is just that and the petty differences between us seems like we're separated by the Grand Canyon.

We treat our land like it's able to heal itself of the trash and pollution with no recourse.

The value of human life has depreciated to the point where a killing is old news and another number in a disassociated crime tally.

Late Sunday night, 16-year-old Javano Williams became the country's youngest murder victim this year.

Williams was stabbed to death while on his summer job at Heastie's Esso Service Station, at Baillou Hill Road and Coconut Grove Avenue.

His death pushed the country's homicide count to 45, and marked the third to occur within the space of a week.

Williams, a resident of Yellow Elder Gardens and a student of Government High School was employed at the service station as a pump attendant.

Chief Supt. Glen Miller, officer-in-charge of the Central Detective Union, said police received word of the killing sometime around 11:10 p.m. Sunday. He said upon their arrival, Williams was lying on the pavement with a "large wound" to his left, upper shoulder.

He died at the scene.
