Site cleanliness and responsible site behaviour is a key priority for Alien, seeing the importance of past and current behaviour by all parties involved.

From here in, Alien will be giving three months evaluation of his postings. This is part of an ongoing plan and process, undertaken after his admission of his postings. With that, steps were taken after this admission and a review was decided upon after careful consideration to entire community.

As part of the "getting better, getting cleaner posting strategy", undertaken by Alien 3 months ago, it was found after deep thought and minor consultation, that a 3 month review of his behaviour and demeanour, will be brought to the people as part of a "strengthening Bahamas issues relations" programme continues. We have made notes and assessments, and have made considerable strides forward in 3 key areas.

1. Cursing has dramatically decreased by 50%, and is an ongoing situation for this poster. However, we remain committed to reducing cussing to an acceptable level.

2. Political threads have been tamed, and we see further indication that reportage have been allowing the voice of opposition, in a democracy the people demand this and we promise to deliver on our promise, despite the minor setbacks, brought on by political agents, who set to distract and derail the will of the good people. We remain however, steadfast and determined to provide the best possible posting service.

3. Personal attacks on members have quieted to average levels. This is an ongoing issue, as most all persons involved are responsible, and we see the need to continue to push forward the peace keeping mechanism, which have proven to work in the past. Strict censure of malicious statements, and faster response on persons who commit first offence. This is a challenge, but we ask the community to work towards a common goal of no personal attacks by Jan 2008. We have implemented an action plan in this regard called "first choice post", aimed at targetting good posters, who make their feelings known on posts of interest. We will be placing it up to a review by the people of BI in the oncoming months.

I thank you for your attention to this matter, with that, a site poll has been added, in order for your feedback on this matter, as a part of our "total inclusion" site policy, implemented to provide joint insight on the way forward for a better Bahamas issues.

The people are speaking, and this is a testament to the forgiveness of the Bahamian people, and their will to stay committed to decency and fair minded treatment regardless of your past. This is also a testament to their committment to honesty, and their ability to speak truth to the matter at what they feel.

I am humbled by their compassion, and their open truthfulness on the matter.

However, there is much work to be done, and we will not rest until we have made considerable strides towards making this place the best place on the Bahamian net.

i definitely think compared to the poster formerly known as YK2bad....with whom I had the pleasure of locking horns with (on my first post, i think).....Alien is a step or two above. so....congrats!

I would take minor issue with that. Even though you have a very sound, and good reason to feel this way. I think, in fact, I know that in this case, with the review in place, with a name change and a new direction forward, things are manifesting right before our very eyes.

The entire scheme and package, will be materialized in a few short moments. We must remember that this is an ongoing process, which must be understood by continually demarkating every individual point of important reference.

This is a key moment, and a very pivotal step and we must keep our minds aware of the fact that this is strong push forward, in incremental steps for a better future.

I feel very strongly about that.

I think your words of support are re-assuring, that the policies implemented after our initial fact finding thread, coupled with our policy direction change, in regards to a better way forward, have in fact made a difference and we remain committed to this venture in site trust.

Since as of last year, there has been a movement afoot to ensure that Alien "formerly known as yk2bad" is derailed from the good works.

They have succeded in getting his attention. This has also meant that they are even more emboldened to act out against his right, because the responses which were handed out with extreme authority, was not well recieved and in fact, were even more harsh in direct manner, in light of the policies put in place; which we set to work around.

However, there is a mis-conception that Alien, within the framework of the new policies, must conform to the will and wants to special interest groups on BI. Due to their inability to waiver my resolve, they have resorted to uncooperative behavior unfitting for total site cohesion. On the heels of my initial fact finding review, coupled with the policies put in place thereafter, specially including the "first choice policy", we have remained focus on targetting such uncooperative behavior, and we have set to utilize and set mechanisms in place, that would deal with these matters in due haste.

The voices of every poster, will not be determined by persons who see the need to throw the site integrity, to utter shambles, due to the lack of proper discourse. The right of dissent, does not cross the plain of non-conformity to decency. In fact, the right to dissent is a democratic principle, which should be preserved much to the dislike of some. We will exersize our right to proper discourse, but firm debate must be upheld for the integrity of truth and honesty of Bahamas issues.
