Two weeks ago today, six fine young men slept comfortably in my house and my girlfriends and I partied through the morning until Dday. 070707 was Dday and the birthday of one of those fine young men - my best man. Today, he lies in PMH's Intensive Care Unit, hooked up to more tubes and machines than anyone can imagine. He cried all day on 070707. He was just so happy. I actually wanted him to be my maid-of-honor. LOL! Tonight, I'm crying like that. Oh what a few seconds can do when one's driving. I just pray that this is going to end well. I'm really not prepared to look at a wedding album for the rest of my life and cherish just memories. I'm just not ready for that man. I'm just not ready.
