I wanted to share something with you guys. I went to Miami for a few days this week, I returned on Thursday night and had a very interesting flight.
Firstly, I must commend BahamasAir because our 9:55 pm flight was taking off about 3 mins early!!! I was a little bit scared because I kept thinking this must be a joke and for the first time the filght is leaving on time something bad mussy going to happen lol!!! Anyways, we arrived on time and as the pilot taxied to the gate he made an announcement that the "arm" that extends out that allows you to disembark was not working and to remain seated because we may have to change gates. So after ten minutes, the flight attendant come over the intercom and told this lady to please be seated as the Captain had not turned off the seat belt sign. The lady did not sit down and continued taking her items from the overhead bin saying she was ready to leave. The flight attendant rushed to her and asked her to please be seated. That women refused to sit down. What was even more interesting was the fact that this lady was Hatian and started acting like she could not understand english. By this time, the flight attendants were very upset and some passengers were making remarks about "dese people come here to rule" etc. So the Hatian lady now begins to understand engligh and starts cussing. One other passenger said let me see her face so I could cut her azz when we get off. This lady rushed the passenger as if she wanted to fight and said see me here. So the flight attendant shoutd 911 and the police officer on board detained tbe hatian lady. By this time the arm was extended and we all get off. Everyone was now upset. And do you believe that Hatian lady followed that lady who wanted to see her face in the bathroom to fight. Lord, I tell you. Apparently the polce officer let her go and ended up going into the bathroom after her.
After all of this, the Officer should have kept her and taken her to the police station. Security is very important especially when flying now and I believe that our standards are too relaxed. If this was in the U.S this would have been a whole other story.
