It aint the police cars get mash up...its the people from the tracks.
They probably did not notice the 20 or so inch galvanized pipe that is linked together and placed on the ground and the whole area is blocked except for the entrance which was then blocked by the police cars. They tried to run when they saw the police and cound not get their cars over the pipe. If you aint gat nothing to hide dont run.

If it did not rain there would have been more people and more arrests.

What were you guys looking for? Guns, drugs, wanted suspects?

Kudos to the RBPF!

Sunny they was looking for all of the above!

The police just decided to do a crack-down. The tracks are frequented by persons who really have a love for bike riding and follow the rules, but there are hundreds of othes who come down to spectate and sell drugs, smoke drugs, prostitute, fight, harrass others, scope out bikes and cars to steal, etc, etc, etc.

What the fellas them dont realize is that plenty police does ride too and when they go out there they see what is happening and because they usually in a position where they are outnumbered and cant do anything, they do report it and keep tabs on the persons they see doing crap.

They put down the galvanized pipe a few days ago and I guess the fellas them aint really notice. There were about 400 officers involved in the crack down. K-9s, DEU, MOBILE, CRO etc all the areas were well represented. The purpose of the raid was not to stop people from coming out and congerating, it is to discourage the 'riff raff' from coming out. The police plan to make it a regular occurance.

Oh yeah..lots of bikes on the street in nassau are stolen from the states refitted, repainted and shipped here. Then sometimes they are then stolen here in nassau again and repainted etc. Many people who are riding dont even know they riding a stolen bike.
If only it had not rained. lol

they need to completely close it down until they do it properly.

Do they have firetrucks readily available?
Are there medical emergency staff and vehicles on the site?
Is there adequate uniformed and armed security?
Do they have a permit to be there?

I think (though could be wrong) the answer to these is no ..

Meanwhile, though it could be seen as a good thing to get a bunch of criminals into one area then its easier to arrest them, perhaps it is a waste of the RBPF precious time which could be spent elsewhere?

And probably most of those bike riders are the same ones that ride up and down the streets of Nassau like mad men and making all kinds of noise .. with their messed up exhausts and such - the scumbags.
