Local magistrates said yesterday they are now working in fear and want security to be stepped up around the courts after a Freeport judge was attacked by a man during a gun possession trial.

Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez said calls from magistrates from around the country poured into his office on Wednesday from "fearful" court officials who believe that more attacks might be on the way.

If they put the mother F'ers in jail rather than placeing them out in the public on bail for the tenth time, for the twentieth offence, they would not be in fear.

But be honest, you don't think that they should have an armed guard? It goes beyond just the primary offender these days. Dudes got "boys" who wouldn't even think twice about getting the judge who send their friend/ relative up to prison. I agree they should have police guard. Isn't there a special force that is trained for such protection anyway............
