Intel had to pull this ad QUICK after being hit with multiple allegations of racism. Beyond the obvious 6 black guys bending to one white man, the fact all the black guys are identical was also pointed out.
Imho, I doubt it was intentionally racist, although the 6 guys being identical and all black does i think speak to stereotypes. But Intel's ad department must be quite a mess.

It is a bad ad. It says nothing about the product, at least the picture. It shows six guys getting ready to run! They are on the starting blocks! A better ad would have been one guy running with the company logo on his shirt with a bunch of other guys way behind him.

The Geek in the middle says nothing about the ad to me!

PS they most likely cloned the picture of the Black guy six time to save on paying six people! Nothing racist to me! Also if the guys has started to run they would have crashed into each other! Crashed! Get it! It is just a poor ad.

the idea was to play on the word multiply
it is indeed a bad ad, multiple shadow directions, impossible lighthing, runners would collide and kill the bossy looking white guy, etc.
I can definitely see what many people meant about the race thing though.
