:sparky: I have commented before on the state of volleyball in this country, on how it was on a total decline and was in desperate need a fusion shot. This is sadly still the case but I never knew it could go any lower. Again we see another gross miss handling of the National Volleyball Team. This time the Federation feels that they must have their personnel on the team regardless of how good they are or how they can contribute. They feel that they must make the decisions who make the team instead of the Coaches.
This time they choose to take one of the senior members who made the team off and put one of their junior players on. Even though this Junior player did not do anything in the practices to show that he should make the team. This did not go to well with the President of the Federation who apparently has a soft spot in his heart for this player and therefore demanded that he get put on the team that will travel at the end of this month to take part in the CVC in Barbados. As the story goes the higher brass of the Federation apparently approached another Senior national player to try and get him to give up his spot but this player told them "NO". They apparently was going to pay his way to go but he would not of been able to play for the team. He would of had to travel in a different capacity. Anyway to make a long story short, they went to more passive player and told him that they were cutting him from the team. They know that this player would not kick up a fuss cause he is known to be a very passive person. This after the player put in all this time and effort to make the team and made it and then was told that he had to give up his spot for someone who didn't make it. This is just total rubbish. The Federation is full of lost people, as a matter of fact they are totally lost. They have no idea on how to build a team. :dunce:
