Hold my hands
Sometimes when I pray it seems like you don’t hear me.
Sometimes life tends to get scary.
My burden tends to get heavy.
As a mortal my spirit tends to get weary.
Lord stay near me?
Stand at my side until I bury.
I am a stranger in this world,
In life there’s nothing as strange as this world.
All I have is you,
And I won’t exchange you for the world.
Let me gain your word,
And I’ll restrain from the evil of this world.
Hold me up if I fall, to stand tall.
Even if I do fall, let me crawl,
To the feet of the cross,
It’s all about you oh Lord.
Lord, walk beside, guide me,
From iniquities hide me.
Show me the truth, when Satan lies to me.
I try to hold your plan,
For you I hold my stand.
And if I should fall, I am only a man
But I’ll restrain from Satan’s phony plan.
All I have is these lonely palms,
And I need you to hold my hold my hands.
Sometimes when I pray it seems like you don’t hear me.
Sometimes life tends to get scary.
My burden tends to get heavy.
As a mortal my spirit tends to get weary.
